I rented a 2008 Supercrew F150 to take out for the Parker race to see how it would work for general pit service of taking the load and how it would fill for the weekend. Very happy with it but would like to try Dodge and Chevy. I rented this at Enterprise and had some aguments with them geting the specific vehicle I wanted to try. They just list as "large pickup" and they give you what they have at the time which could be any brand and any cab style, to get the one you want is nearly double the price per day. Is there any other rental companies out there that I can work through or maybe right through a dealer? I would like to keep this under $60 a day.
Planing to do this again for the next BITD race until I pick one.

Sombody else must have done this.

My truck got hit right before the Primm 300 last year and Enterprise rented me a brand new F-150 with only 55 miles on it. I was tempted to take it "pre-running" on the course. Pretty nice deal.

Try renting through a local dealer. It may cost more, but most dealers have agreements with the rental agencies that they put you in the same make as the dealer. So a person renting through a Chevy dealer gets a GM vehicle and a person renting through a Dodge dealer gets a Chrysler vehicle and so on...
