What does everyone use? Soild or flexable? I prefer flexable but are solid better for any reason? Is the standard still Autofab bushings or has someone developed something better?

i always mount my engines with regular round PU bushings together with failsafe energy susp. PU transmission mounts.

IMHO PU mounts protect the frame from (potential harmful) engine vibration and stress peaks....never had a single failure or crack even on cars that crashed.

however, on a engine with transaxle i think that maybe the movement and torque twist of the PU mounted engine/trans could give you problem with shifter linkage and CV angle ??

And possibly more important, they protect that beautiful aluminum block from cracking too.

what about using a delrin bushing instead of a poly one? it will be more solid but not a real "solid" mount
