Anyone know where I can get 100 octane clear pump gas? Seems that the streetblaze 100 that I ran last weekend in my jeepspeed was illegal, got penalized, and now I nead to have clear gas. Can anyone help? Sorry if this is in the wrong section

Velocity 101 unleaded race fuel is available at the pump in Pasadena. It is a clear fuel.

Bryan, try this link for some ideas.

At select 76 stations they sell 100 octane 'race fuel' at the pump. I know there is on here in Orange County on San Juaquin and San Miguel in Newport.

Bryan VP makes a clear gasoline its 100 octane, hopefully we can use that this is the description off of the website

C10
The best non-oxygenated unleaded racing gasoline available. It meets ASTM D-439 standard specifications for automotive gasoline and is street-legal in most states. C10 does not contain any metal compounds and will not harm catalytic converters or oxygen sensors. Used by national champions in SCCA and IMSA stock classes.

• Color: Clear
• Motor Octane: 96
• Research Octane: 104
• R+M/2: 100

I would not recommend running AV gas, although AV gas has a very high octane rating it is also a very slow burning fuel, it is designed to run in low compression engines at a constant rpm, the reason for the higher octane is the altitude. Running AV gas is a car engine will result in a very slow burn or flame front, power will be low, and overheating will often result from the delayed ignition.

Thats why god created tolulene as a coolant to AV gas, should improve its performance. but still not be as good as race fuel
