I googled these. We used to have a home up there and had many great times with family/friends. Enjoy your trip.

A GOOD friend of mine/my family owns a condo up there on Boulder Bay a lil ways from the lifts but it's in a beautiful area right by a nice bay ... His name is Jeff 909-772-8358.. Let 'em know I sent you his way (no I don't get a kick back or anything .. I babysit his kids quite often and we spend a ton of time w/them).

Another friend owns an amazing restaurant in Big Bear.
Peppercorn Grille 909-866-5405 (I would strongly suggest making reservations)... What would I recommend? ANYTHING & everything!~ P.S their fish is really fresh too .. desserts are HOMEMADE (which is rare in the restaurant industry)!!

I want to throw something else in here for you Ms. Xteena...
Assuming you're gonna ride at Bear Mountain...be sure to get your breakfast at their cafe downstairs. They serve up a mighty tasty breakfast burrito, and it's HUGE. Almost breakfast enough for two people.
Have a good time and be sure to let us know how the conditions were when you return.

Check expedia and orbitz. A year or two ago we got a room at the block for next to nothing. We booked the day before we left and got 50% off.

Bad snow seasons though, the last couple of years. Snow didn't barrl down till the year I move to Colorado. DOH!!!!
Curious to hear how Big Bear was ...

I stayed at a place called the "russian". Its like a 70's honeymoon place but I think it was pretty cheap (a couple yeras ago). It had a hot tub in the middle of the living room/kitchen/room with beads for a door. Not too romantic with the 8 guys i was there with but pretty interesting though. Good luck if you go there.

Thanks everyone, After all these desert trips, testing, racing, I just want to go sit in the snow, maybe learn how to snowboard, and relax for a weekend. Oh and definitely eat! lol :D I was trying to plan this all yesterday, for today and the rest of the weekend, but to busy still. So hopefully soon we can do a snow trip!
