HELP ..... Baja Bug Info Needed....

I bought this baja last year.
It came from Arizona, but the guy I bought it from didn't know anything about it.

About all I know is it is a 1973, widened KP front beam, boxed trailing arms, stock looking trans, engine has a single 44 Weber, remote oil cooler and filter, and the "COW" paint job on the sides...

So, anyone who knows anything about it, a contact, or who might have built it..

I'd appreciate any info on it..

I'ts a real pain in the butt not knowing what you have..

Anything in particular you need to know? Sorry, I don't know who built it but it looks like a lot of bajas built like a 5/1600.

I don't have any idea what size the motor is, Cam etc.
Like I said the trans looks like a stock T-1, But?
Thats why I was hoping someone might reconize the car or at least the Cow Paint.

You should post it up on one of the VW forums. What city in AZ did it come from? I know a few guys in the bug business here so if it was from the Phoenix metro area someone will recognize it. The VW guys are a tight nit group. That paint job would be hard to forget.
