American Motors Company Is Back!

I just got my April issue of hot rod magazine and they have the biggest story of the year. American Motors Company is returning with a full line, full service car company. The Amx, Javelin, Gremlin, and all the old favorites will return. The big news to us desert guys is they plan on having full-scale racing program involved with nascar, drag racing, imsa, and a off road racing. A highly modified javelin will race pikes peak in July, and then a virtually stock rambler will attempt Baja around 2010 to celebrate Ralph Poole and Spence Murray effort in 1967. If you want me to post some scans of the pictures and article just say so.

Reminds Me Of A Story...had A Co Worker Come In One Day And Said "i Drove My Dads Prerunner To Work" Sweet I Said, Lets Check It Out....it Was An Old Amx With Micky Thompson Wheels With A 1 Inch Tube Nerf Bar In The Front. We Later Fired Him. Not Cuz Of The Amx Prerunner, But It Did Not Help Matters.
