I am running AN -8 on my Trans and oil lines.
AN -8 ~ 1/2" Hose

For a V8, you should be running -10 oil lines. -8 fittings do not flow enough.

I have been through this one before...............the hard way. MINIMUM AN-10 going to the cooler, AN-12 coming back. Don't do 10 out and back. You can:o , but I wouldn't.

Depends on your motor and how far away the cooler is, etc. And on transmissions, like the Ford C6, you have to run AN-6 to keep the pressure up, because it fluctuates. Where on the turbo 400 it is different. Look around and ask the people who run the stuff. It will hopefully save you $$$ by learning through their learning curve.

-12 on each suction pump, -16 to the tank and the fluidyne endura cooler and -12 to the oilfilter and the pump that goes back into the engine  ....the bill for the hoses and fittings almost dropped me (and the owner of the car) to the floor

Thanks for the info.I have used AN-12 when the cooler was all the way in the back of the bed.I always thought they were too big.

The filter is only 14" away from engine. I might change it, well see. Havent had issues yet, but it is a stock 302.
I have talked with the trans guys, -8 to 1/4" NPT conversion keeps the correct incoming line pressure for the c4.
