What Compression Ratio Do Most Of The Class 11 Guys Are Running, Single Or Dual Port Heads?

Single Port - 11:1
You can run a real hot motor, but in all honesty, I think you'll find that the motors are always going to outrun the suspension capabilities.

I am building a 5/1600 motor and am just getting into offroad racing. I have a good engine guy building the motor with offset ground crank, J&E pistons, etc etc. I have a good set of virgin single port heads and of course dual ports all over the place. Should I also use my single port heads? I am looking for 11:1 compression because I want to keep the engine reliable and maintenance down. The engine builder says the single ports will work good and at low rpm's they even flow better. Because of the intake restrictions, I don't know if the dual ports will be the limiting factor on the engine.
