They should have a charity off road race for all star drivers. Robby can host it. Like Tonys Modified race. Would love to see some of them good ol boys get dirty!! Snd are how they do!!

Casey answerd a question I asked on his site, and said he would love to race a trophy truck sometime this year. It just needs to materialize, at a convienient time...

Would be Cool!!

I'm sure its different when you get paid to go do what you love...and paid a lot.

Why would he come back? No one is going to pay him $X,000,000 a year to go race Trophy Trucks....So good for him.

At least you people have your boy Robby Gordon to worship...

Don't look for JJ to get dirty anytime soon.

Him and his wife are all wrapped up in the Wine and Botox scene here in Manhattan....dirty is attending a Polo match in the Hampton's.

Biffle has been a dune fanatic for years. He would be the one I would expect to see in a Trophy Truck first.

Well, thats kind of the point...he IS getting paid LOTS of money to turn left all the time...it would be NOTHING for him to come back to his roots and race Baja or whatever...the sacrifice would be so minimal for him that its not worth mentioning...whereas for RG is requires a substantial portion of his capital, time and effort to do what he does...So while JJ COULD come back to the desert as easy or easier than nearly anyone (with no impact to his or the Hendrick bottom line), he chooses not to...

Oopps! I posted this article in the general forum not knowing it was here. Oh well two plugs for Tatum is not bad!

As far a JJ coming back, he is a pie and I would be surprised to see him go back out to the dunes again. Notice the photo in the article is credited to Hendrick Motorsports. Total PR move if you ask me.

Also someone on here said JJ has no reason to come back to off-road racing and good for him. Well that's lame! Does RG have a reason? Does Gaughen have a reason? Yes they love racing in the dirt! They have the same reasons as does Tony Stewart, Kenny Wallace and others who return to the sprint car dirt tracks that they started on and love so much. It great to see these guys come back and do what gave them their start. It also helps the sport to have a superstar come back and race in your series.

Also Jimmy and Rick Hendrick have a Chevy Dealership here in San Diego. It might not be so bad for Jimmie to race once in awhile or sponsor a truck in CORR or the desert. How many people would look at going to buy there next chase truck or next car in general if you knew that Jimmie's roots were here in off-roading and you knew he was still giving back to the sport? I know I would.

I'm pretty sure Kasey Kahne and Carl Edwards also go back to dirt tracks once in a while to support their where they came from

I think Jimmie just feels safer riding around in golf carts...oh wait...:D

Yeah, I know Kahne still races midgets ever once and a while. And they both have big USAC national teams to help out fast young drivers. I think its pretty cool.
