so i have plans to build a 347 stroker motor and i was wondering if anyone has any experience with good combos for it. Right now i have a brand new 302 ford motorsports block to be my base and for fuel supply i have full bbk fuel injection. If anyone has some knowledge please chime in!

I heard the 331 is better, something to do with rod angle but i know that is dependent on a few factors. I think I might of read that off of Coast High performance. But yes def. do the research but sound like you have a good foundation.

Yes, the rod ratio on a 331 is way better.
CI rod\stroke=ratio
302 5.096\3=1.698
331 5.4\3.25=1.661
347 5.4\3.4=1.588
Most stock motors are about 1.7-1 Getting below 1.6-1 really starts to side load the pistons. It also requires larger intake ports due to the faster acceleration of the piston from TDC.
