What a crash :eek: !!!!!!

Was a hard crash of Mcdowell today at the texas qualifying

The good thing is Mcdowell is OK :)

The only #s I heard was that the car went from 165mph to 0mph in 1 foot.

I heard the same thing, 165 mph at impact, wall caved in 12 inches at point of rebound........That was about as Dale Earnhardt-esque of a crash I have seen since Dale Sr's crash that killed him at Daytona......The initial impact anyways. Better seats, better restraints, Hans Device, safer car and the Safer Barrier all contributed to us all watching that kid walk away with only a minor limp.

Actually it didn't, you have to look at the vectors. He did continued down the track and tumbled, it takes energy to do that. None the less that was one VERY hard lick.
