Johnson Valley California.

Maybe you have heard about this exciting new form of off-road racing, or seen some of the coverage here at Race dezert, Pirate 4x4, Crawl magazine, or Dirt Sports.
I would like to introduce you to the most monumental task two guys, like us have ever tried.
HammerKing Productions Inc, (the promoter of King of the Hammers) Jeff Knoll, and Dave Cole started planning KOH two years before the start of the race, with some pretty lofty goals. Hearing all the hero's of off-road racing talk about wishing they would have paid attention while making history in the ever popular Dust to Glory movie. gave us the idea to produce a documentry.

With next to no budget, a dream, and a lot of help from some truly amazing people dedicated to the off-road industry, we are well into post production of Hammerking Productions film about off-road's newest hard core desert race.
Tae Lee and Yuna Lee from Wecoe films agreed to get on board our wild ride, Pat Gallager from RP films assembled his crew, and we begged barrowed and pleaded for any camera man we could get. We spent the last of our budget on a chopper, and here is what you can expect.

I can not thank the parties involved enough for helping our dream become reality.

Thankyou for your time we look forward to King of the Hammers 2009 and the release of Hammerking productions first film.

Jeff Knoll.

Great job. Can't wait to see the full length. When was that race? Is it happening again? Caught my first Rock Crawler race on TV a couple of weeks a go and thought it was pretty cool.

The race was in Feb 2008.

We are planning on doing it again in Feb 2009, as long as we continue our good relationship with BLM barstow field office.

Once again would be nice to be warned of the severe cursing before hand.Other than that looks like it could be a great movie.

There were countless media outlets that helped with the event and listing them all would get a bit long but I must add a thanks to our freinds at Totally Off road radio. Jim and his crew really helped make this event what it was. Thanks Jim, sorry I missed you in the first post.

The response to KOH has been a bit over whelming. We are currently formulating a plan which will make entry a fair practice for all interested parties. KOH 2008 was an invite only event, 2009 will have a similar entry pattern, but allow for entries from parties unknown to us that would like to participate. In a nut shell we are trying balance the needs of BLM in regards to impact, with the demand for entry spots in this limited entry event.

First and foremost KOH is a media based event that requires a bit of planning on our part. We hope to make the details public very soon regarding 2009. We expect it to be a rather large affair.

Thank you for your interest, we are hoping to attract more racers from the desert side of the sport.

Do you have this video uploaded elsewhere? It keeps stopping. I keep reloading it, and if I have to hear Dustin one more time....
