Great find Klaus. It is so unfortunate that we don't get to watch these races on TV anymore. I wish they'd bring it back.
Watching Tommi Mäkinen drive is just incredible. They have had some amazing guys come through that series.

Yeah I got lucky to see a 205t16 and Audi quatro Group B in action once at a wrc event in the 80s. I was young and memories are fading but it was insane. Then later in the late 80s my first real car was a Peugeot205 (My first one was a project freebie non working Peugeot 104 that my parents made me sell cause it brought the value of the house down) ...Marketing at work.

Anyone on RDC following WRC this year? I download all the TV shows as they are widely available as torrents the day after the events.

I don't keep up with the WRC as much since Speed tv stopped televising the races. The Group B cars were awesome. I remember watching on TV when Michelle Mouton drove the Audi Quattro up Pikes Peak and setting (at the time) the record back in the mid 80's. IMO, WRC drivers are the best in the world.

I would love to watch more WRC...I just can't find the time to fiddle with my computer to download TV shows and then watch them on my computer screen when I have a big HD TV to watch other stuff on...

Right there is same reason for me. Plus I have a hard enough time watching the stuff that is on TV besides what I can get on my computer.

I follow it pretty heavy Klaus, that (WRC, SCCA, RallyCross) is my background before off road. A lot of my close friends are still involved both in the States and over seas.

And just an FYI-There is a group trying to make real RallyCross, European style happen here in the States and they already have Ford support.

I got sucked right into the Subaru video. I am so in love with my Subaru. I recommend the WRX/STI to any off-road enthusiast. That car is just a blast to drive. Thanks for the great post Klaus!!

Where do you guys download your torrent files? I've been trying to get just one WRC episode for three days now and I'm still only 2/3 of the way through the download. I can't imagine how anybody watches these on a regular basis.

great find klaus... i just watched the clip of Nassiar Al-Attiyah's crash...at the end he says in a Apu voice..."I DONT KNOW WHAT HAPPENED!"
