Lappers in the top 10 on restart in Pro Buggy

This is just my opinion, so you can all tell me if I'm wrong about this.

Why are lappers starting inside the top 10 after the competition yellow. With the race being only 15 laps long, I think it's stupid to start them inside the top 10. Do they think the lappers are going to pass all the leaders and regain their position with 7 laps to go?! We had a legitimate shot at a podium finish(Fortin car). Running 4th at the yellow, CORR puts a lapper between Fodrill and us. Down in the bowl the lapper spins sideways and leaves Doug nowhere to go and ends up flipping him putting us out of the race.

In my opinion they should be put at the back of the pack.

My other beef is with Cory Heynan(sp). On saturday, he used our car as a berm in turn 3 also flipping us. We have it all on video and watched it several times as he came in way too hot and drove into the side of our car.

CORR needs to take a long look at all of this. Rant over.:mad:

I saw them shuffling cars around on Sunday. It was really strange but I figured they were sorting out the field.

I feel bad for anyone that got shafted.

Hey last time i checked the guy that you flipped over was Phil lewis ...
He was NOT a lap car... he was in 4th or 5th (ish)
Someone rear-ended him crunching the engine cage and spun him sideways and doug hit him from the side....
it was not his fault u guys got taken out for it...
i know that sucks but watch who you point your finger at...

This was my first Pro Buggy race, and Saturday I finished 12th but was second from the end on the re-start and finished on the lead lap.
It would have given me a huge advantage to catch more cars if they lined up that way, but don't they line them up as they stand when the leader is first, and everyone behind them is frozen. I think this is the same in Nascar?

Either way, I had a great time and want to thank everyone. Everyone was fun to be around and found most people more pleasant than what I was expecting.
I look forward to this season, I know everyone has their ***** about CORR, but for us it is much more than that. Look for our pit after the race and I will hand you a beer and explain it to anyone that wants to hear it.

I guess I overreacted with my post. The concensus seems to be to leave it alone. We'll just dust ourselves off and move on to Primm.

As for the video, I need to figure out how to post a analog video to a digital media.

I think that you should probably make sure that you get the person right in who you are blaming for taking you out.. but also it is sometimes part of racing.. nothing is intentional in taking each other out..

The only reason your rant was done last Friday was because someone set the record straight. So I would get the full story before you decide to rant again.

My rant ended because I'm over it. Not because you or anybody else "set the record straight". Sounds like somebody else needs to get over it. As for Phil Lewis, We Qualified 4th for Sunday and never lost a position until the roll over. The running order at the yellow was MacCachren,George,Fodrill, Fortin. You might want to check your facts desertchick
