If you guys want to worry about something, I would worry about the fact the stands were only half full.......

Me and the GF took a backpack with 3 waters and decided to see if they would let us in with them, we were saying to ourselves if we could make up a medical reason like being Diabetic that it might work. The security at the entrance was fine with us having water probably because they knew it was going to be very hot! My first CORR race was a AWESOME!:D I am definitely hooked

I think we all have the right to complain about gas prices... especially when the multi-millionaire CEO of Exxon-Mobil says when replying to congress why gas prices are so high "life is hard"

And to agree with the complainers, shame on Jim Baldwin for not controlling the weather and keeping it at 70 degrees all weekend. :mad:

Hey.. I remember this time last year when the RDC desert forum would have like 100 people viewing and only 10 on short course. And then yesterday, for the first time ever, I noticed more people viewing the short course forum. So it's good to see all you deZert racers finally starting to jump on the short course bandwagon!!:D

I went to the dezert instead;

102 degree's and windy......

$150 bucks in gas, stuck in sand half the day, no free water, $10 for a bag of ice in ocotillo, $25 for a case of beer, 1 flat tire, 1 broken shock, kids were cryin, wife was bitchen, no bathrooms, no hand sanitizer, $8 bucks for a frozen burger at blu-inn, $5.25 a gallon at blu inn for gas to get to el-centro to pay $4.25 a gallon so we could get home.

Great post, the world is full of knuckleheads. Hell, I winched on two race cars, spotted for one, lead two race teams, ate the fair ground food and still had a blast. Great event, thanks Jim Baldwin for allowing me and the teams I associate with to live out our dreams. I would love to see the 'knuckleheads" to try to tuff out a NASCAR race.:eek:
