Dear Drivers and Sponsors,



CORR regrets to say the racing family has lost one of its members. Beloved Larry Noel passed away this week. Larry raced with CORR in a Pro 4 in 2006, and raced in the Pro 2 class in 2007. His son Leon continues to race in the CORR series in 2008.



Our thoughts and prayers are with the family at this time of sorrow.



Services will be held next Thursday in Phoenix at 10 AM. More information will follow.

I guess the word is out now, Larry Noel did passaway at the begining of the week, all of us at Noel racing and Nuco plastering are going to miss him very much. He was a good man and father. God speed Larry.

Larry will always have a place in my heart, one of the busiest guys I have ever met,and one of the best pilots. I will always remember racing with him and the fun times. We will all miss him and he will never be forgotten. Hang in there Leon, Your dad is watching over you.

The last time I got to see Larry was at the practice when Leon had crashed their truck. I have know Larry for several years and he was a very good friend and racer.

Leon, I am sorry to hear about your dad and he will be missed. I wish you and your family my best regards.

CORR regrets to say the racing family has lost one of its members. Larry Noel passed away this week. Larry raced with CORR in a Pro 4 in 2006, and raced in the Pro 2 class in 2007.


I know Larry is a current CORR member, and this IS a short-course forum, but I just wanted to add that Larry Noel had also been an Off Road racer for many years, in many other different venues.

The first time I was introduced to Larry Noel, was at one of my first races at an ADRA (Arizona Desert Racing Association) event, in Rocky Point, during the mid 80's. He supported Desert Racing in Arizona, and was also a regular racer in the Mickey Thompson Stadium Events in the 90's.

My dad and I were Larry's teammates for the Mickey Thompson Series for awhile and eventhough I was pretty young Larry was always nice to me and offered me advise when I was not doing so well or when I was introuble from my dad. We had seen him last in Snowflake in 2004. I will always remember his smile! Our thoughts go out to his family.
