AGREED, Jerry should be recognized on what he accomplished with Riviera Racing back in those days. When people see that black truck the name Post probably automatically comes to mind. Jerry has proved what kind of driver he is and these videos show it all. I know for sure the name that holds the Laughlin Leap record is another name, but we all know who was really behind the wheel. I know his name wasn't mentioned at all in the Dust to Glory movie, when he stard as, "Posessed driver charging thru Baja", awesome clips of him chasing down trophy truck feild(almost goin off a cliff, runnin into motorhome, passin trucks left and right). I agree with Lucky909 100%, I use to recognize the driver by: no gloves, white sleeves, but most of all the driving style. Jerry no doubt is a driver to be reckoned with and his driving capabilites will ALWAYS thrill his viewers. So yeah, Jerry should receive some credit on his behalf of driving with Riviera in those days.

Jerry is a great driver, no question about it. most around here realize it was his driving, not Post in D2G.
I can't tell if you are just giving props to Jerry or you are hating on Riviera on Mark and Jim. By no means do I have insider information, but from what I gathered Jerry's driving relationship ended to do an unfortunate incident, not by any wrong doing by Riviera. I have watched the videos and Jerry's name, his face, his voice in-car, its all in there. I wasn't very hands on with the team in Jerry's days but these days there is no doubt, it is FACT, Jim drives that shop these days.Should we make sure Jerry gets honorable mention for his work 4 years ago that lead to Riviera's recent accolades?
I still don't know what you are trying to prove, everyone knows Jerry is high paced, aggressive, exciting driver to watch and he used to drive for Riviera.
While we are on subject on want to give credit to Curt Leduc, he didn't necessarily put the truck out front every time but he always handed it over in great condition in position for a good finish. Curt was great to work with and you couldn't ask for anything more out of a guy (unless his name is Rob Mac).

I am absolutely not hating on Mark or Jim or Riviera. Mark was great to me , so was Nick Baldwin. I worked hard when i was there and they appriciated it, the best job I ever had . I left to be a stay at home Dad to my child, so my wife could pursue her career. Jim and I were friends, But he has made it clear I am no longer welcome there. For what ever reason, I don't know. Yes Jerry did make a mistake and paid for it. I would have liked to have seen a little more support for him from the team during that time. Thats all. Things worked out for Jerry and I think he deserves it. Okay this thread needs to go away please. I will try to keep my posts a little less contraversial. And yes I had a few beers before that first post hence the buzzed part. Thanks for your reply Bajafoolin.

I agree with you that Jerry is a very good driver. I don't think anyone will argue that. However I think if you look at Riviera Racing what is the common theme over the last several years...Jim hands down.
