Just wanted to say THANK YOU to CORR for a great weekend at PRIMM!!! Our team had a great time, even being the peons that we are (UTV's), and I can't wait until Pomona!!!

Also, I wanted to be sure to thank the guys/ladies behind the scenes.......all the course workers/flaggers who are out on that course all day long in the heat to make sure we are safe (and it was HOT!), the tow truck guys (thanks for the lift and perfect parking job! LOL!), the camera guys who had to brave the heat up there on those stands (it was great meeting you!!), everyone at tech who has the long job of making sure we all comply (not an easy job!)......etc etc.....

Every race, I meet more of you, and just want to be sure you know you are appreciated by us racers - even though you might not hear it every day!!! :)

See you at Pomona!!! :p

Hello Chris! I did OK....Sat I started in the back in 25th (wasn't able to qualify on Fri) - I made it through the field to 7th place before the checkers (I needed a couple more laps!). Sunday, I qualified well and started in 4th place - a couple of laps in I was making a pass for second through the whoops, hit that sharp right hander that was wet - and spun out like a rookie. :( I got hit by another rhino, and it did some damage that took me out the rest of the race. Let's just say I will be spending the next couple of weeks practicing my corners, and I will see the podium soon! :)

Hey Corry! My husband and I attended our first CORR race yesterday and it was so awesome! It was exciting to see you out there as I was telling everyone around us "that's a girl that I've raced with before on quads". You were kicking booty until the spin-out. Sorry you got stuck. Looked like your right front wheel got tweeked.

You know my husband has a RzR now with hand controls. He's already looking into racing that thing some day ~ We need to get him hooked up with Evan Evans! Best of luck with your races, girl!

Just a quick thanks to our great friend Chuck Dempsey and his Speed Technologies crew for having us as guests in their sky box. We were sweating in the shade. I can't even imagine how those people sat out in the hot, burning sun all day. Thanks also to the workers who picked up my husband in his wheelchair and took him all the way to the top of the bleechers! Holy cow. People are awesome!

I'm so glad you guys could make a CORR race!!! I wish I would have seen you out there!! I know of a few people who have hand control rhinos/rzrs.....definately do-able!!! You should be out there racing, too!!! You'd be great at it!!

Keep up the great driving Cory! It's awesome to have a local girl doing so well in the points chase.

I usually don't get to watch the UTV race with everything going on with our trucks but love to watch you "pick 'em off" when we can!

See you in Pamona!

Good job Corry! Glad to see you up towards the front. The car count was great and the top cars had great back and forth battles both days. Only a few wrecks and broken cars this weekend, way better than Pomona. All the teams did a great job because almost all of the tech corrections were done since Pomona. This class keeps growing and getting better. As the new people get experience and improve their cars the whole show keeps getting better. The yellow flag workers are volunteers and it is a tough weekend. All day in the sun and dirt and they work their butts off for a yellow shirt and food and drinks. They do have the best spot to watch from though!
Patty, I think this would be a perfect place for Chris to race at. Course workers are always close if there is a problem, which is totally different if he raced in the desert and had a problem. I have had other people calling about this already for the UTV and Kart class. If you go to another CORR race just go to Evans pit and talk to him. He is a great guy. We always alert all track and safety people to know which truck Evan is in and that he might need help getting out in an emergency situation.

The new points system is great!! CORR now gives bonus points for top 3 drivers in qualifying. Plus the leader at the mandatory caution gets bonus points. Whoever came up with this idea should get a raise because it made the qualifying and racing to the mandatory caution more exciting.

I agree the new points system is a good thing with one caveat . I would like to see passing points when they invert. Maybe 1 or 2 points per car .

Passing points would be cool - I agree!

Grant, would that be because your brother had to pass so many cars after entering into inversion hell? Greg sure put on a hell of a show and it was really fun to watch, and count down the positions with the crew..."now he's in fifth, fourth, third...now he's in the lead..." sure glad to have him back racing.

Yeah .. not only inversion hell in Pro buggy , but my son in UTV as well. He quailified first both days. I like the show of an inverted start but we need a reward for starting back there. Especially if they are giving bonus points for leading at halfway .

And Greg is glad to be back .Most people don't know he is tied with Jerry for all time MTEG wins

After seeing the fire in his eyes at Pomona, Greg will be chasing Jerry on the CORR side too...and I agree that there should be a little help for the inversion but not too much.

Great doy for you on Saturday and sounds like Sunday started good too. Sorry to hear about the problems, keep up the good work and practice too and you'll get that win sooner than you think!!!:D
