Parker for Memorial?

My countdown clock has started, and I cant wait for the start of the river season........Leaving the 909 as early as I can get everyones arses out..........East bound and down, loaded up and trucking......

I will be there! Can't wait, it is my official start of the river season too.:D I have a beach front spot at Echo Lodge. Can't wait for breakfast and bloody marys at Roadrunner. Man you just ruined my concentration for the rest of the week.

Was at Parker last weekend. It hit 112 degrees on Sunday when we left (3ish). Truly a beautiful weekend. We don't travel on the holiday weekends due to traffic, crazies, etc. Be safe & have fun!

Cool deal. We will be in a white Ski Brendella with an old school ski pilon extension for wake boarding. It has the strap that wraps around the bow before towers. The Keys has got to be one of the coolest places on the water in SoCal/Arizona. I want to get a fixer in there one day.

dan200 will be at The Nautical for the weekend. White 28 foot Nordic with black flames going down the sides. Been to Havazoo plenty of times but usually on a house boat. My boss got some rooms right on the sand I guess and I am really looking forward to this. WOOHOO!!!!!

At least it's not snowing like it is here. This is the first time in a LOOOOOOOOOOOOONG time that I havn't been on the water for Memorial Day weekend. Last year was Powell and before that the river for ever. Snowbird just got a foot so I might be strapping the board back on today.

I used to do that too (10yrs. ago). Now it doesn't go with my current motto.

Rain finally let up Sat mid day............Spent the afternoon on the water, and now I am sitting on the dock drinking a Tecate and listening to Brad Paisley........nothing but blue skys on the way.........

Weathers nice right now. Because of the rain the wash is smooth as glass! just some rocks here and there, and theres no set line for most of it. Working on making one though...

Thanks Everyone. It was a very safe weekend on the River at Parker. No Major incidents, no fatalities, a few bumps and bruises and some DUI and OUI arrests....Thanks Again See ya at the races!

The accident just south of Havasu on Friday was pretty bad. A car went head on with a semi and went up in flames. All that was left of the car was the rear bumper and the occupants died. They still aren't sure how many people were in the car or who it was. It had the road between Havasu and Parker shut down for about 7 hours.

Yep, fun trip around the lake through Needles. Added about 2 1/2 hours to the drive, and we were only 20 minutes away. I would much rather drive around it than be involved in the accident. Sounded bad, and there wasn't much left of the semi on the drive home Sunday. Prayers said for those involved and thier families.

My boss was one of the first vehicles rerouted because of that accident.:eek: He had to back track and go through Needles because of the road closure. Took him longer but as previously stated, better to stuck in traffic than be in the accident. After my own wreck last year (ran off road pulling my boat:eek:) I am very careful of vehicles pulling trailers and give them plenty of room etc. I wish everyone else did this too because I would still have my boat.:rolleyes:

Had it not been for some drunken meat head at the Naked Turtle Friday night we would have a glitch free weekend. Sunday was the most fun. Took the boat out to the sandbar and dropped anchor with the rest of the fools and it was sunny all day. The Monster boat was out there with a tower of speakers. Those guys know how to throw a party.:cool:

Now I can barely keep my eyes open because I am so tired and I have a little sunburn but that comes with the territory. Thank you Havasu for a great time.:)

I went up to havasu friday and saw the the rear axle and burnt melons left from the truck.... it was bad. I guess the occupants of the car were parker locals (tweeker i guess).
