Hello my name is Jim and I post as WORCS761. I am soon to be 48 this week and have been involved in the offroad culture since 1966. My dad Dick Savage was a founding member of American Buggy Association. He also was a charter member of CORVA. As a family in the 60's and 70's we would offroad a Manx and or a Sand Skate. I myself was a member also, though I was a Four Ace Dist. 37 and BITD member too!. Today, a third generation offroader, Blake Savage races for Team Suzuki in the Worcs series. I live in Highlands Ranch, Colorado these day's. In order to keep informed, I am highly addicted to RCD. I wounder why!
Back in 1986, I became a fan of Robby Gordon at the Mint 400. That day I made a comment that a by-stander overheard. "Bob Gordon is fast today." I was corrected. The by-stander said it was Robby. Gas on.
My fix for riding today is Lakewood Motocross Park. AKA "Thunder Valley Motocross". I also travel once a year to "El Hongo" with my two riding Bro's Pete and Rob Voigt. We ride no chase, only a back pack and enjoy time spent away riding Baja from one side to the other. I actually rode the "Matomi Wash" for the first time in 2007 on a motocross bike with a stock tank and 14/46 gearing. Of course I rode with a Tide container with gas from S.F. and back.
Best of luck to all at the 500. Respectfully, Jim.
