Caller mentioned RG on Wind Tunnel

Did you guys hear the caller on the last Wind Tunnel? I just watched it the other night and a guy called in and praised RG as being the most versitile driver in all of motorsports or something very positive like that! :D He went on to say he saw RG testing for the "Prelude to a Dream" race and his practice times were faster than the pole for the last race!!! :D

How about that? I KNOW RG has excellent car controll and all but since I didn't think he had ever raced this type of car I didn't expect him to do as well as the guys who grew up doing it. It seems like he will have a good chance at running well in the event now!!!:D

What did Despain say? He has had RG on a few times, but seems to snub him quite a bit. He did not even mention the Rally. And this from a guy who claims to be proud of his Off Road past.

I think Despain gives RG credit when he's permitted to, but ultimately answers to the Speed Execs with their man-crushes on the good 'old boys with the last names of Wallace & Waltrip...

Oh absolutely Speed has an agenda, but Despain is the Walter Cronkite (spelling) of Motorsports. He can talk about pretty much whatever he wants to as long as it is on topic and pretty much get away with it. He chooses not to mention RG on a regular basis.

uh oh, Loomis has forgoten to take his meds again. No man crush, just a fan. Despain has not talked about RG in any way shape or form for two years unless it was about the race in Canada. To be honest, RG has not earned it with the Cup Performances of late either. But to not mention the CER at all kind of sucked.

I think Lee Spencer shows Robby the most love. There's a reason for that .....boink!

Lee Spencer & Marty Smith both show a lot of respect for RG's talent.

Time to cut the jokes about Loomis' meds. Joke wasn't funny in the first place and its not an argument when you disagree with what he says. Attack the argument, not the person.

He has on many occasions made it clear he is not an RG fan, just listen to the afternoon Sirius show he babbles on.

I have little respect for him, and it has nothing to do with his RG bias. Although his awful interview of RG after he got of the car in Canada was pretty funny.

Not a fan of RG but respects his talent. Two years ago he said the top 3 guys in nascar for talent were JG, TS, & RG.
