Never actually calculated out what our USPS Contracts take for fuel in a weeks period.

Pretty rough estimate
Chevy Silverado - $75.00 fill up, two times a week
Dodge Nitro - $60 fill up, two times a week
Dodge Megacab - $140 fill up, once a week, sometimes more.

So about $410.00 a week in fuel, give or take....usually give, lol. At least we get pay adjusments when fuel prices increase.

Right now its costing me about $80 a week to fill my Chevy Silverado and my wifes Acura TSX is about $50. The Acura get much better milage, but you have to buy Premium gas for it. I will say the price of gas has slowed us down. We are much more conscience about where we are going and trying to not make double trips.

0$, I drive the company truck.

It takes about 150$ a week though. More if I have to go on any long distance trips.

I spend $200.00 per week when I drive the HD2500. But when I ride the bike (CBR600RR) I spend $20.00 per week. You can guess what I prefer to drive.

I have been very cautious about where I need to go versus where I want to go and I am stretching fill ups to about 2 to 2 1/2 times a month. A fill up for me is 34 gallons of diesel, so whatever the cost, given the fluctuations in gas prices. So, about 240-360 a month. Not nearly has bad as some of you guys.

My 07 Dodge 2500 (5.9L) pulls 500 to 525 miles out of a tank of gas from 34 gallons, actually I have never fully filled up, about 32 gallons if I stretch it. I am shopping programmers to find one that is really good for gas mileage. My truck make more then enough HP so I am really concerned about mileage and economy. I am thinking about getting a transfer tank for the bed, something in the 100 gallon range and heading south every other month for a fill up.

The cost of gas has really slowed me down and my demand for it this summer will certainly not effect there "limited supply" :)

It costs me about $92 or so dollars to fill up and that's about every 4 days.
I live in Riverside and work in Irvine and go to school in Anaheim plus th GF lives in Newport. I am moving down to Newport in less than 2 weeks and I am hoping to cut down on gas majorly. Plus I have to pay fo the toll roads to and from work. I'm hoping to save around $250 in just gas and tolls alone. I get about 16 MPG but I run about 25 psi in my tires just aired up to 40 and I'm hoping to get around 19. I currently get about 390 miles a tank and I'm hoping to get around 430 or so after the psi adjustment. And I have a heavy lead foot that doesn't help:)

I can't wait to pay 2.50/gal and less in Mex this weekend. The over $5 diesel is rediculous! Good thing I only drive about 10miles round trip to work. :-) Been thinking of riding my 450x to and fro.

It cost me around $60 to fill up my 4-cylinder 2006 Accord. I should've got the v6, it's probably getting the same gas mileage as me!

i am at $65 a week right now. get right about 350 miles out of a tank in my little GMC Canyon. roughly 22 miles/ gallon. i bought this truck in february when our shop moved to the far side of apple valley. appx 25 miles away. and from what i save in fuel, i can fill the little guy up 3 times for the price of one fill up in the diesel. so i can go 1050 miles at $4.00 = $190.90 (22mpg), and the diesel at 1050 miles at $5.15 = $386.25 (14mpg). So saving pretty much $200 every 3 weeks makes the Canyon's loan and insurance payment.

my 06 f-250 diesel is PARKED, and has been for over 2 months minus a trip here or there with the trophylite on the trailer. if i hadnt paid it off in just over a year, i would have sold it by now.

Just back and forth to work 15-miles each way I would spend about $40 per week in our Tahoe (2000 Tahoe Limited with 4-inch lift and 33-inch BFG All-Terrains) at 15 mpg and on my bike (2004 VFR800 Honda Interceptor) I get about 40 mpg so it is less than $15 per week at today's gas prices...

It cost me almost $8 to drive 30 miles to and from work in the Tahoe so I have been trying to ride the bike whenever I can. I know others are paying more than me but it really sucks for all of us as we are all being held hostage to these high prices with no hope in sight!

Has anyone received a cost of living increase in pay in the last year? The poor economy is hurting us in more ways than just fuel prices. If you were barely scraping by a year ago you are now drowning! It is crazy....

What can we do????

I spend about $10 a week for gas back and forth to work. (That is if I drive my truck, a litle cheaper if I drive the car.) 7 mile round trip and only work four days a week. I am glad I started a new job back in November. Before that I had a 40 mile round trip five days a week. Most of my gas bill comes on the weekends when i want to go play in the desert.

I spend about $30 a week, I drive a Honda Civic Hybrid, about 41 mpg. I drove a dodge 1500 over in Hawaii about a year ago and it was still costing me about $700 a month. And that was A YEAR AGO!! When I plan my build it is definatly going to be a weekend warrior.
I see all a lot of guys out on the 58 and 14 with the big 3 axle fifth wheel toy haulers, and even with a diesle I cringe. How much is a trip hauling one of those big things?

I own a small trucking company.. last year I spent $24,000 a week, same time this year I am spending $41,000 a week. Running 20 trucks.
My customers have helped with a fuel surcharge but that usually covers only 20% of the increase.

I posted this before but a few weeks ago I saw a beat up moped parked at the grocery store. It had "Hey, at least it's not a fat chick!" written down the side of it. I laughed my arse off when I read it. Now every time I go past that place I look for it on the off chance I will see it again so I can get a pic.:)

$150 per month for a Metrolink pass, (which includes use of the MTA purple line subway) and a 6 mile round trip commute to the train everyday. The fuel savings are great, but Public Transportation means making physical contact with a couple hundred sweaty, disease-ridden strangers everyday :(

I agree twillis, back in the day I used to take metro link to Los Angeles and it worked brilliant, but with trying times like these I can only imagine how packed it is now.
