Bruce is being inducted into the Baja Legacy Hall of Fame tonight!! Bruce is the Senior Product Evaluator for American Honda. Bruce was also the offroad team manager for the Factory efforts of the Honda offroad team and has recently turned those duties over to JCR. A lot of big changes for Mr. O! For those of you who have ridden Hondas and used the Honda pits, you dealt directly with Bruce and his great group of volunteers! I have YET to meet a more organized person when it comes to race type stuff!
I first met Bruce shortly before the 2004 Baja 1000, we hit it off right away. I have learned so much from Bruce in the past four years it is simply amazing. He has taught me so much and has shown me the ways of Baja. I never knew there was so much history in Baja and never really appreciated the area until sitting next to Bruce and experiencing the experiences that I did!! Bruce is currently fighting an uphill battle with cancer starting yet ANOTHER radiation regimen this week. I couldn't think of a more knowledgeable person/someone who has done a lot for the sport to be admitted into the Baja Legacy Hall of Fame!
