I havent fully decided what i am going to do yet, so bear with me.... I was involved in an accident the other day and once again got frame damage on my 2002 Ford F150. I am just sick of the thing now. Insurance has offered to cut me a check and let me have the wrecked heap back. It is not drivable cause the steering gear sheered off. Does anyone know of what offroad shops might be interested in it? There is no body damage or anything other than the frame being bent, and as i see it, a tubed frame would be better anyway for those body styles. Anyway, tell me what everyone thinks. Oh yea, i would keep it also, but there is no room for me to store it, otherwise it would be my personal project-

I was in the same situation with my four runner. You may try parting it out? Thing like ac and misc stuff like alternators, fan motors etc do fairly well on ebay and craigs list provided you don't try and get rich off of them price wise. you may make a few bucks back after stripping the vitals off of it and help out you deductible costs. If having a carcass in the garage is not to your liking you may be able to pawn it off on the junk/salvage yards. I doubt they pay much though. Try craigs list or the classifieds on here. When I cut away the whole body leaving just the frame and engine on my truck the metal scrap guy gave me a whole $28.50 for the body. I wasn't even worth the gas to tow it there but it was the easiest way to get rid of it.

Wow, there is a lot of good stuff. Is it 4wd? Somebody is gonna want the parts. Just the tires will be worth a few bucks. Head lights and grill would sell, hood, all of it. You should be able to score more than a few bucks.

its 2x4, spindle lift up front. it is a really good looking truck. I think i am going to head down to stewarts raceworks right now and ask them what they think
