Anyone have any experience with these? A friend of mine just bought one and while it's certainly not a high-end camera, it looks well designed and has a lot of good mounting options.

One of these just popped up here at Bilstein. Im going to see if I can snag it for some testing vs. the Flip Camera I have been using.

They're awesome. They sponsor the Factory Yamaha team and one of our clients Josh Hill races with it and says it works awesome. If you're looking for something like that definitely pick on up.

Yamaha sells them - I am trying to get one for a review for the magazine I write for......looks like a great camera for mounting to a race vehicle! :) I will have one on my rhino this weekend....

What magazine is that??
Very nice but the 56min runtime won't work for us.

Yeah, I wasn't thinking for a race vehicle, but for playing around I think it would work great. The cards are easy to change. so if you weren't in a hurry (racing), you could carry multiple cards and change them as needed.

After seeing a couple very short videos and checking out my friends camera I decided it would work great for my needs. I picked up the "Motorsports Hero" package at Cycle Gear in SLO today... now to take some video. I don't exactly have anything exciting going on in the next couple days, but maybe I'll at least take some video of the commute to work and post for you guys to see.

So far I'm really digging this little camera! The various brackets and attachments are what sold me on it and so far they haven't disappointed. I haven't tried, but I'd almost bet I could hang from the suction mount. The video quality is better than I expected. I included a link to a sample video I took. Even though I uploaded the video in it's original form and size, the quality degraded a lot more than I expected. Youtube and other hosts seem to do the same. There's no need to watch the entire video. I promise you it doesn't get any more exciting at the end, haha.
Enjoy!

EDIT: The quality seems almost as good as the original in the embedded video above.

My friend that bought the Hero had theh ATC2K first, lost it and replaced it with the Hero. So far he's very happy with it and likes the attachments and mounts a lot more.

Yep...better image quality than mine.....but what sold me to the ATC2K is its toughness...so far it has 3 rolls and its doing fine...its the Hero tough too?

With any luck I won't test it in a roll! Although, I would imagine it would hold up just fine assuming it wasn't smashed.

Here are a couple videos I took this weekend. And, by the way, the more I use this camera the happier I am with it. It's definitely the coolest thing I've bought in a long time.

My roommate does street bike testing and editorials for motorcycleusa.com and he uses them all the time. He laid the bike down to low in a corner at 80+mph and knocked it off the bike and it was still recording untill he walked over to it and got it after his ride.

So Rad Does Anyone Have Any More Videos From Their Camera?

This is the last I've got. It's not too exciting, but if you enjoy watching suspensions work as I do, you might like it. There's a small jump at the end that looks cool.
Wow, I just watched the youtube version... the quality really went into the sh$%%er. The original file is waaaaaay better.

I saw an article in a magazine for this camera yesterday, I wasn't sure if it was worth it for the price but after watching the videos I think I'll pick one up. Is there a way to turn the camera on and off remotely?

I definitely think it's worth the money. Like I said, the video quality is actually a lot higher in the original files. There's no way to turn the camera on remotely although it would be nice. It takes just short of an hour of video on a 2 gig card. I plan on buying a couple extra cards.
By the way, anyone buying this should buy a battery charger and rechargeable batteries. GoPro recommends NiMH rechargeables or Lithium batteries for use in cold weather. I bought a charger and batteries from http://www.batteryjunction.com/ FYI: alkaline batteries (like what it comes with) don't last but a few minutes, so be prepared with a good set of batteries when you buy it so you can go play.
I bought this charger combo with 4 batteries

And these for extras:

The charger has a 12v cigarette lighter adapter which is handy. Both brands of batteries had to be charged and drained several times before I saw full battery life out of them.
