and he finished 43rd this weekend. maybe a win at michigan. my money's on it.
so what does everyone else think of kyle?

Hes got skills for sure. Its not a fluke. He just needs to keep his mouth and arrogance under control and he will get a lot more fans. I am a fan though!

Like Fish said, the kid has skillz. If he can harness his raw talent and keep the negative attitude out of it, he can win three championships this year.
I think he's cool as hell. The Days of Thunder glasses and helmet in intros were awesome.

Knucklehead IMHO
But he can sure drive the wheels off a race car, I could have sworn he was a Hendrick driver. LOL
Would he have been as successful if he had not gone to Gibbs and what must TS think?

Pain in the butt much like his brother. I worked with Kurt but never Kyle while at Goodyear, but I heard some interesting info when Kyle was coming up about dumping his Roush contract for one with Hendrick. Good driver, but Ill never root for him. I have an issue with anyone that looks that goofy and akward, makes stupid and ill-advised comments, and tries to carry themselves off as being "cool."

He is a great driver! No one can take that away from him. He can be a bit of a primadonna at times. Like mentioned earlier, he needs to think before he speaks sometimes.

Not a fan of him, but how many ealry 20 something guys have you heard be responsible and conservative in thier attitudes. Hopefully with age will come maturity. I think Jeff Gordon was the only one (But he was/is the Rainbow Warrior):D;)

he's a driving fool, just needs to shut up.
can't say it's just equipment or team as he runs up front in anything he's getting into right now. what's the common. him. give him credit for that.
ever notice the shape of his two eyes are not the same?

I'm starting to come around to him. He's an awesome driver but he's struggling to find his identity. He'll mature eventually. I hope he wins multiple championships this year.
I'm hoping Logano is the real deal. Awesome driver + nice guy. I need a winner to cheer for along with the underdog (RG) so I can be happy half the time.

Kyle drives hard even when he's loose. He needs to learn how to back off the gas. He'll get at least a couple more wins this year.

i've been a fan of kyle since he came to JGR, because WAS a JGR fan.
but, now im just a fan of kyle tony and denny. not the company at all.
i don't like the toyotas, but kyle can put them in victory lane.
kyle is one of the best drivers, and he can drive any car, unless it's really tight. lol

Kyle is definately a good Nascrap driver. I mean just look at him, his stats prove it!He's on fire (well, not literally, although some would hope, and not last week) but you know what I mean. I really believe the kid is a real jerk and I have no respect for somebody that contradicts himself so much and treats people like cr@p! He needs to get popped just like his brother did and, more than once! After a pop, he will calm down w/ his mouth. After one pop he won't slow down with his aggressive driving and anticts, but if someone else pops him (another time or a couple more), he will begin to see the picture. I for one would do it, just to have him shut his mouth. He's worked hard and lucky to be where he's at and takes the situation for granted. Geez, he get's under my skin (maybe that's what he likes).

He is a baller. The posts in this thread remind me of the "how good is BJ thread". They both have their haters, but they both can drive the freakin wheels off a racecar! If Kyle Busch came on here and said what BJ said in reply to his thread, would he get praised like BJ?

June 12th, 2008, 14:45
Both Kyle and Kurt are very immature!! Kyle is obviously struck from the same mold as Kurt. Kurt is the only Nascar champion who receives no respect at all from media and fellow racers. The fact is Kyle can drive the crap out of the COT, it is a terribly handling chassis, I can't even imagine running on bump stops on asphalt! I believe that when nascar get's a better chassis Kyle will be in trouble as his age and experience will catch up with him, he has not stuck his car in enough situations yet to keep him from doing the "daredevil"moves. It is his lack of experience that has propelled him this far. His crew is always trying to get him to slow down, he won't. His luck will run out and he will fall back in line. When it does he will be an "also ran" like his older brother, who is rich, has the "scoreboard", but has the experience now to know when to back it down.
We all learned at some point "slower is faster", he has just not wrecked enough to learn yet.

Kyle needs to accept who he REALLY is......
He can drive right there with the best of them, but the guy is a dork.
What Kyle really needs to do is grow some pork chop side burns, get a perm and start wearing thick 60's style glasses and a pocket protector.....
....then don the helmet and drive just as he is driving now.
Quit telling the press how cool you are Kyle.....tell us your a dork, and you would be a systems analysts or chemist if you weren't driving race cars.
Wait till Kyle jumps behind the wheel of a TT someday?????

If Kyle is a dork, then you are saying that my friend Brian is a dork. Brian says Kyle is so down to earth and so cool, he wants to come out to the desert and race Trophy Trucks! All you guys need to get a freakin life and stop wishing that you were in KB's shoes!!!

Relax Andy.. I dont know Brian or Kyle, but from the interviews most of us have seen, they conduct themselves VERY differently..
I hope KB DOES come out and give TT a shot.. I'm sure with his talent he will grow into it and hold his own, its what any good racer does.
Dont take it so personal that people dont like the attitude of a friend of a friend. Its NOT a knock on you or Brian.

I dont think anyone can say he dosent know how to drive. And everyone has the right to their own opinion. I dont see how that makes us "all retarded" IMO who he hangs out with does not matter, this thread was about him. Just because someone dosent like him does not mean they hate all that persons friends and people they hang out with.
I like KB and I think almost anyone in his shoes at that age and with his results would be acting a bit cocky too! I know I would!

You know I always here all about this "Jr. Nation" thing. As a fairly new NASCAR fan I don't understand Jr Nation. Jr. basicly inhearited all of his dad's fans for the sake of his family name. He isn't the great race car driver that people make him out to be. Just getting that off of my chest:rolleyes:
Seems that most people hate KB. Lets face it, the kid is on a roll and I only think his driving will get better with maturity. He is only 23 and has a lot of years left in racing. The fans will come around in time. DW had a hard time with the fans in his career too and now is one of the most respected drivers in NASCAR history. That is the dumbest thing I have heard in quite a while. Dale Sr. was Dale Sr. There will not be another. Problem is nobody respects him, due to his case of diareahaa of the mouth. Maybe tape his mouth shut, and take away the "rockstar" glasses....He's a whiner, just like his brother.
He can drive anything with 4 wheels....alot like RG. Same cockyness. I think he learned alot when he hit Jr. He'll do fine, he might be the first driver that wins the cup with lack of fan support.

Dale Jr. is actually one heck of a driver, he won back to back Busch series championships in his ONLY 2 full time Busch series seasons and has 20 Busch series wins to go with his 17 Cup series wins and an average finish of 16.1. He finished 16th in the points in his rookie year on 2000, then finished 8th in 01, 11th in 02, 3rd in 03, 5th in 04, 19th in 05, 5th in 06 and 16th in 07 with most of the poor finishes due to changes and problems at DEI. He is the highest Hendrick driver in the standings ahead of JG and JJ which have 6-Cup championships between them. Dale Jr. had 7 CUP series wins in his first 3 full seasons.
On the other hand Kyle Busch is just the current fad and the product of some good driving, great crew and equipment from JGR, more power then the competition from Toyota and the marketing hype of Fox Sports and NASCAR. He has the points lead currently an wins but lets look deeper into his racing resume... He has no championships in NASCAR at all! He finished 20th in his rookie Cup season in 05, then 10th in 06 (last in the Chase) and 5th in 07. In 04 he finished 2nd to Martin Truex Jr in the Busch series in top of the line Hendrick equipment when Truex was driving for Chance 2 (Dale Jrs team). He has 8 career Cup series wins and an average finish of 17.0. KB had 4 CUP series wins in his first 3 full seasons.
So when you are done with the current hype KB is a good driver but not the greatest of all time or anything close to that. On paper they stack up pretty evenly but Jr seems to be a cool down to earth guy with a tremendous fan base while on the other hand KB is an arrogant punk that is currently on a roll.
The numbers don't lie and all these stats were taken directly from NASCAR.com...
Lets put this little punk who made up his own nickname in perspective! He is NOT the best driver of all time and I doubt he ever will be!
My 88 cents!

Andy,
I know you are friends with Brian, but have you ever hung out with Kyle? How was he? I know you are a cool guy and we have talked a couple times and you were very accomidating and you don't have the image that Kyle has and neither does Brian. Kyle has the image of a spoiled, immature brat that has some driving skill, he may be of the opinion that any press is good press so he is just working this image for all he can get but it seems that way to us on the outside looking in.
I have met quite a few NASCAR drivers and Dale Jr was very nice when I met him as was Dale Sr!!!! But there are some drivers that are just jerks... Ron Hornaday was one of them and Kyle Busch seems to be one of them, I have yet to meet him in person but from what I have seen on TV he is not a good guy! Would you be willing to put Kyle in your Truck?
On a positive note, Brian seems to be kicking butt once again this year on the asphalt. Have any of the big teams picked him up yet? When can we expect to see him in an ARCA car, or Truck or Busch series car?

Look, the kid can drive the shiot out of anything out there. He did not "Soul Train" anybody to get his ride, performance talks and BS walks and the guy has performed, people who do not see that are being ingorant to the facts.
With that being said, his being portrayed to be the bad guy in Nascar, this is something the media has done and IMO, not only the fans, but Kyle as well has embraced the role as the bad guy. He is brash, the younger brother of Kurt, who was also portrayed as a bad guy for several years. Instead of fighting it, he purposely goes out of his way to say things that will piss people off. He is young, cocky and he wins......No goly gee acts with this guy and that rubs the masses the wrong way. Nascar and the Media know that the fans need a bad guy in the sport and I think Kyle Busch has been designated as the bad guy. But you know what, it works for him. He makes alot of money, he is doing what he loves and he is winning. That is what it is about.
Personally I think he does come off as a smart arse who needs his arse kicked...I think it is on purpose....I do not know the guy, will not pretend to, but I have heard good and bad. The one thing I do know......Nascar is entertainment. And just because the guy is a dick on TV does not mean he is a dick in real life. As far as being in Kyles shows?.....no there are many others that I would rather exemplify in my manners and deed than Kyle. I think he is one of the most talented drivers for sure. This new car definately takes more skill to drive rather than the old car being so aerodynamic dependant. That's why drivers like, Kyle Busch, Carl Edwards, Kasey Kahne and Greg Biffle are having good years. They know how to wheel a car around rather than just relying on their crew chiefs nailing the perfect setup. I'm glad the new car is driver dependant, now we can see what a no talent Jimmie Johnson really is. Just my opinion, let the bashing begin....

Your either trying to be hilarious......, you are ignorant or you have lost it completely. I said what was on my mind, plain and simple. Just because nobody agrees with you does not mean they themselves are racists. McMillin made the same comments he always does when he gets worked up about something on these boards. They were not racist.........A little immature, a little insensitive, yeah, he was. I expect nothing less from a guy his age. Since when was being immature a crime. Get over yourself and move on.

He will get his payback sooner or later, and maybe that will knock a bit of maturity into him. He can wheel a car, but he doesn't make too many friends on the track.
I do have to say that his take-no-prisoners driving is one of the few things that have made the races interesting to watch this year.

Anyone, ANYONE who wants to discuss Kyle Busch's place in nascar history is free to do so, lets start with today. Wrecks a truck regular, than loses his car running second in Busch (Nationwide). I do not want to hear another Earnhardt Sr. or any other driver comparison, until this ass hat can at least drive a month without screwing up something that is completely controllable.
A lot of skill, but a complete moron...

I have to admit, after seeing what he did to Hornaday.............That was pretty chicken ****, that was not just a "racing" incident. Not only does he have to look over his shoulder with Hornaday in the Truck Series, but now he has to look over his shoulder with Harvick now on Sundays, with Harvick being the owner of Hornadays truck. And you never want to be on Harvick's bad side, I think most of us have seen the results of that several times with RG, and RG was a teammate

Say what you want about the guy and his attitude, but that boy can drive. I have been very impressed with his season thus far and I am sure it is only going to continue. With that said, remeber we only see him for a few hours on the TV. We don't know what he is like at home or away from the track. It would be nice to see some of the cup guys come out and play in the desert a few times...I'd like to see Kyle drive a TT that's for sure.

Quote Clint Bowyer, San Jose Mercury News 6/15/08;
"Jeff Gordon, you either love him or hate him, but bottom line you respect him. Clint Bowyer said. Kyle Busch is winning races and he's on top, but there's not love-hate relationship. It has nothing to do with his performance on the track. People don't respect him because of the things he does when he gets out of the race car"

Okay, this is getting lame. One of the great things about our country is the ability to freely express one's opinion. It is just that, your opinion. If you can't handle someone else having something else to say without getting personal, leave it out.
On that same note, I will apologize for ripping Andy Mc's a** on this thread. Andy, I've never met you, seen you race alot. You have talent, but keep friends of your friends out of stuff, it only brings people into things.
KB is one of a kind. I always thought a nickname stuck because someone else gave it to you, not because it was self-proclaimed. Maybe he see's Tony Stewart, and things he can pull it off. People will start to get him back, just a matter of time.

Uh, are you reading the same thread as everyone else? In 9 pages maybe 2 or 3 posts question his driving skills while the rest praise them.
People were talking about him being a douschebag, then you called everyone retards because Ickler says he cool. He may be cool in person, may not be, I don't know just like you probably don't either. Kind like RG.. far from a roll model citizen, the way he rubs people (pardon the pun) but the guy is exciting as heck to watch behind the wheel.
It really doesn't matter what these guys do off the track to me, but how exciting they are on the track that allures me to them. Soon as he stops running people off the track, he will be one of the sports best drivers in my eyes. I think he is becoming a dominant Cup driver.
Cream will rise to the top, so he will be fairly good in anything, just dont see him being good in an F1 car at the ripe old age of 22 :)

And he still was mouthing off after the race, calling Harvick out for the tirade in Michigan. Love him or hate him, the guy can drive the shiot out of a race car and is driving at a different level then everyone else. If anybody wants to question his ability, remember this.......This is the same team that JJ Yeley drove for last year. Same COT's, different grill and stickers, the same team that finished 21st in the standings last year. He still comes off as a punk, but as I stated weeks ago, that is age and a role which I think has been thrust upon him by Nascar......A role he probably has accepted. All good sports need a bad guy, and the worst kind of bad guy is a bad guy that wins.....He and Nascar are taking it all the way to the bank. JMHO

When Kyle got shuffled all the way to the back everyone started talking crap but I knew he still had a chance to move to the front. One guy is a 48 fan and was talking all kinds of crap about KB and RG. I usually keep my mouth shut until the last 10 or so laps. He was real quiet at the end, RG top 10, KB wins and the 48 in 23rd:D
I became a KB fan the day he signed to drive a Toyota, I had no idea he'd win 6 races this year but I'm loving it!:) Now I know what it feels like to be a Jeff or Jimmie fan, win alot and everyone hate you for it. Kyle's attitude has room for improvement but it's what he does on the track that matters most

The more people bash the kid, the harder he's going to work to throw in back in everyone's face. Everytime he wins and people throw stuff at him and onto the track, and that's doing is feeding his ego and his strive to win.

im just too loyal to chevy. it doesn't really matter though in so called "stock-car" racing now. every car is exactly the same, and if kyle busch was in a ford, chevy, toyota or dodge, he still would have won.
if you wanna see stock car racing go to an SCCA race. awsome racing.
KB is on fire! Did you see the guy run up to the fence as he grabbed the checkers and give him a meaningful double finger salute?? The more people throw and talk smack about him, the more I want to defend the guy.. the kid can DRIVE!

kyle busch is'nt tough enough to be another dale sr. if i did'nt like something that kyle pulled on me in a race, i would'nt hesitate to knock him on his a--. sr? not so much. kyle pisses people off for completely different reasons than sr. did. i can't see kyle spinning labonte out on purpose like sr. did and saying that he just wanted to "ring his bell" a bit or something like that. i don't think that seeing kyle puckers up your a--hole when you see him closing on you in your mirror like sr. did. i do think however that kyle's skills would certainly match up as well or maybe better at the same stages in their careers. but kyle aint no dale sr. no matter how obnoxious he is while he's interviewed or after he wins races. just my unqualified opinion.

I can't really fathom why people still don't like Toyota. Jack Roush is one of my favorite haters. Rusty Wallace was saying a couple weeks ago in a Nationwide race that some of the Ford, Chevy and Dodge guys are starting to complain that the Toyotas have too much power and they don't think it's fair. That is the most ridiculous thing I have ever heard! Quit griping and step up to the plate and make a better engine. I know that Chevy is working on something. I think it is dumb and immature that people get so worked up about the Japanese making a Pushrod OHV engine better than good ol' boys. Toyota has actually been making Pushrod OHV engines for a long time. We all know that if the rules allowed overhead cams, Toyota would dominate even more than thew are now. I think more teams will make the switch to Toyota in 2010. Chevy can have Tony Stewart as far as I am concerned. I would like to see Dave Blaney do a little better.

July 8th, 2008, 22:54
You know whats funny is that Toyota isn't really making that much more power than everyone else if they are even making more power. This isn't a Toyota, Ford, Chevy, Dodge thing. It is a good ol fashioned ass whooping being displayed by Joe Gibbs Racing this year. We know hoe many races they have won this year, but there are also a couple more races that were in the bag before some bad luck struck (i.e. Bristol w/ Denny Hamlin) Kyle Busch is legit, the new car suits his driving style. Tony Stewart will have a hard time at Haas/CNC next year and beyond. I hope Joey Lagano takes over for Tony Stewart next year. That kid is going to be the next best thing. Jack Roush needs to quit bitching about Toyota and figure out how to beat Joe Gibbs Racing.

For you gentelmen talking about the Toyota's. We let me just tell you Nascar has taken the cars to the dyno and the Toyota's have around 15 more rear wheel horsepower than the chevy's, dodge's and ford's (per the request of Chevy, Ford and Dodge) Next year will be different, i believe. Nascar made a mistake by letting an illegal Toyota craftsmen truck (nothing against Toyota) motor w/ a little bit of work be allowed to compete in CUP and Nationwide. Chevy doesn't use the same motors in the Nationwide and CUP series, but is trying too. Ford, does, but they complain and I am not sure on Dodge. Toyota was smart and Nascar let them get away w/ a little and we are seeing the advantage. If you want to argue read the NASCAR Scene and you will find out more about this.
pdailey
July 9th, 2008, 10:50
That extra 15 more horsepower is not the reason JGR are winning. NASCAR is all about turning and that is dependant on the indiviual teams and the cars that they build. JGR did their homework with the new cars and are reaping the rewards with thier dominance this year!!!!

Actually Roush says that the extra power allows them to build more drag into the cars for better handling but still have the same speed because they have more power to push the cars through the air... Seems sensible to me.

That had nothing to do with any secret weapon....RG's restrictor plate program has been very solid for the last couple of years, and this finish was almost identical to the February race at Daytona. There has not been a single finish as of yet where there has been any sign of substantial performance improvements over the past 2 months. He sucks early, is better late, to late to do anything about it. That has been RGM's story all season. Besides, secret weapons have been banned by Nascrap, penalties have been severe and one more penalty would put RG out of business.

Gibbs did his homework. When has he ever shown up with a pile for a car? It's not a Toyota/Chevy/Ford/Dodge thing. It's who has the best program. If it was a toyota thing...what happened with MWR? You really start to see drivers better though. Reutimann and Vickers both have stood out this year. No wins, but strong running.

Found at BlackFlaggedOnline.com (http://blackflaggedonline.com/2008/07/14/third-busch-brother-critical-of-kyles-deal-with-devil/). It explains a lot.
Third Busch Brother Critical of Kyle’s Deal with Devil
July 14th, 2008
Kevin Busch is speaking publicly for the first time about his brother Kyle’s deal with Beelzebub, Mephistopheles, the Dark One — also known as the Devil himself.
“I can’t for the life of me believe my stupid brother,” said Kevin Busch, an Episcopalian minister. “He gets the chance to make a deal
with the Devil, says YES, and then asks to win NASCAR races instead of trying to correct those godawful goofy looks of his.”
Kevin cautioned that his brother Kyle and the Devil are tricky and not to be trusted, as Satan, particularly, may appear in many forms: a loose lugnut, a touch of unexplained aero-looseness, or a super-hot TNT pit reporter named Lindsey Czarniak.
The King of the Underworld was front-and-center at Chicagoland on Saturday night, appearing first as Brendan Fraser to belt out
“Gentlemen, Start Your Engines” in his trademark spooky-yelling voice. Not without a sense of humor, the Devil tormented the real Brendan Fraser to comedic effect in 2000’s “Bedazzled,” one of the Devil’s many screen appearances.
Next, viewers saw the Devil gum up Denny Hamlin’s engine and break the splitter off of the Carl Edwards’ #99 Ford, before his evil grand
finale, a mirage which caused Jimmie Johnson to see a pathway to victory around the bottom of the track on the final restart of the race — with only two laps to go.
Kevin Busch is not impressed. “My dumb brother may be winning races, but he’s reviled in the stands, and he’s headed for a fall. Soon enough he’s going to see that the Devil doesn’t care about him, he’s got a campaign for President to run. And all of the ladies’ sunglasses in the world won’t cover up the hurt in your monstrous, bulging bugeyes when the Devil abandons you.”
And this cautionary reminder from the Busch of the cloth, “If you DO get the chance to parlay your soul to Satan and you’re NOT going to go for good looks, at least ask for a hot wife. Worked for Kurt.”

Kyles speach about thanking his competitors for complaing about the horsepower and how it helped with traction control off the corners was sad. It sounded like he was trying to think of that while he was racing, and he thought it was pretty funny in his head. The delivery though sounded like an akward math club president. You have to be a smooth talker to be a funny smart ass. Its all the delivery... ;)
The boy can drive a car though, and JGR is on the ball. It was good to see the rest of the mediocre Toyota teams fell back to reality in that race. We shall see at the next big track if Nascar took too much from them.

After KBs immature tantrum after the Bristol race; what do you Kyle Busch fanboys have to say about him now??? I am not an Edwards fan either but Busch was simply nudged, not wrecked as he has done so many times already this year, in fact he even hit CE back pretty hard and was not able to wreck him to get the position back. What he did after the race was dumb and childish and he should be penalized but NASCAR won't do it because he is their new star! He almost hit other drivers going after Edwards and it was way uncalled for!!!!
Give the little brat a time out!!!! If it was RG he would still be in the hauler taking a beating and they would give him a very harsh penalty!!!

Saying all he could keep thinking was has would Kyle do it to him and he thought yeah and he has so bascially saying Pay backs a ***** he bumped and rubbed his ass to the high side. And thats why Edwards got the equal suspension should have kept his mouth shut.

Are you guys telling me that if you got hit while leading and got passed by the guy that hit you, and then you hit him back in the next corner but his car does not move like yours did, that you wouldn't be upset after the race? None of you race (I'm assuming here) so you can't say he should have done this or he should have done that. After racing for 3 hours and leading most of it, I would be very pissed off after the race, knowing that if the guy (Edwards) didn't hit me I would have won.
I would have done the same exact thing Kyle did after the race, so would any other REAL RACER who's passionate about what he does.

Are you guys telling me that if you got hit while leading and got passed by the guy that hit you, and then you hit him back in the next corner but his car does not move like yours did, that you wouldn't be upset after the race? None of you race (I'm assuming here) so you can't say he should have done this or he should have done that. You have got to be kidding me. Being passionate and being a baby are two different things. If he has a problem with what Carl did, maybe he should confront him in person.
Your assumption that none of us race is both incorrect and ignorant. The difference is we have to pay for our torn up equipment, Nascar math club president Kyle Busch does not.
If you want to justify his actions, try again. You explination is almost as pitiful as Kyles actions Saturday night.
Seriously, is this guy your man crush, or what?

Andy, it is highly likely that any and all of us would have done the same thing, but that does not make it right, especially when Kyle has been on the other side of that exchange MANY times already. He likely had a crew chief and spotter in his ear trying to calm him down and he should have been mature enough to accept that what was done to him was in no way worse than any of what he has done to others.
In NASCAR, when you hit someone after the checkered flag you get punished. The penalties have varried but in general everytime you hit someone in retaliation after the checkered drops you will get penalized.
I have not raced at the level that you have, but that does not make me any less qualified to have an opinion... Just like you have not raced at their level and if you did you would have to exercise self control and maturity or get penalized for your actions...
Ultimately the decision is in the driver's hands and it was a SERIOUS case of the pot calling the kettle black when Kyle hit Edwards following very light contact, especially in light that Kyle has flat out wrecked people to get his wins! If he can't take it he needs to stop dishing it out. He needs to man up and accept the fact that his racing people dirty and acting like he is the only guy on the track will come back on him and he cant cry foul every time someone else gives him a taste of his own medicine!

All I have to say is yeah I would have been pissed maybe done the same thing but doesn't make it right and especially when he knows the reputation hes got on his shoulds especially cause no one likes him as it is. That is def no way to win over fans. And I would understand if he exchanged a similar rub mid race and pushed carl back which he attempted to do but it didnt work. SO to take out your frustration out on him after the race while other drivers congradulate you you get a fender to you door panel sucks.

i'm not a kb fan so to speak but i have a ton of respect for what he does with a race car.he has a ton of skills but in my humble opinion he needs to let his driving prowess do his speaking for him and not let his ego speak for him.there are far too many drivers in nascar that don't belong there and it's frustrating to me that they always blame someone else for their inability to drive.how do they get their rides?they may have been the top dog at their local track but when you step up to the national level there's a whole different breed of competition.i guess that's why i'll always be a dale sr. fan,the man could drive anything and never had to brag about it,degrade someone,or make excuses for a poor performance,he let his driving do the talking.if kb could take a minute to look back on his brothers career and see what running your mouth can do for you he'd probably be more appreciative of the good fortune he's been blessed with instead of the rowdy burns movie characture he's chosen to adopt. again it's just my opinion.

I would have done the same thing KB did. When you are in a race car and something like that happens to you it just makes your blood boil. Especially if you have been leading for a long time and then someone comes and does something like that to you. Sure maybe KB has done it himself a time or 2 but it still dosent change the fact that it happened to him. Sometimes something like that is better than a personal confrontation that might just lead to a huge fight between all team members from both teams.
And KB is not the only one to ever do something stupid after the checkers. Even your boy Robby has been known to throw a helmet or 2 in his lifetime!

KB/ Edwards are doing what NASCRAP loves best, making headlines and drama. Busch likes to bump and bang, Edwards returned the favor. That's how I understood it from Moody on Sirius. Far as I'm concerned, let them bump and bang all they want.
