Yes he is at the bottom, BUT his single car operation is listed at 28, about the same amount per car as the Red Bull Racing team at 54 so it isn't that bad either. Also this was probably before CAT leaving BDR so BDR will likely go away or drop below RGM next year...

Also consider that RGM is the only one car team listed. BDR is a 1 car Cup team but is running a 2 truck team in the CTS. All those dollars were figured into the teams worth too. Teams like the #96 Hall of Fame, #21 Woods Bros, #49 BAM and #78 Furniture Row did not even make the list. MWR is surprisingly listed high, but I bet that is because of current sponsor value. MWR has two of the higher profile sponsors in the sport. Both UPS and NAPA have been rumored to leave MWR at the end of the year. So I bet MWR will be considerably lower in next years standings. Petty's net worth just rose with the merger of Boston Ventures into the Petty organization.

Id say a Lear 35 for 1.2 million is significantly low.

For RG to even be on the list considering the state of their sponsorship or lack there of is pretty impressive. RGM is the leader of all single car teams and that is for an underfunded program. BDR runs two full time truck teams as well and a part time second car in Cup. With that being said, they need to shore up sponsorship and get a second car. If that means taking on a partner to do it, so be it. I am sick and tired of seeing RG finish 30 something because he is hell bent on doing things his way. One thing is for sure......Doing it "His Way" has not worked yet. Who knows what can happen if they can throw some more money at it, but right now it is a sinking ship.

In the report it shows Robby making a Profit, compared to three other teams above him which have a loss in opreating income. The profit goes to Robby for playing in the dirt since he does not have to pay for a driver. Also it says that Jeff Gordon NASCAR's Highest-Earning Drivers $32M; Dale Jr. $31M; Jimmy Johnson $23M: and Tony $19m.

Yeah, that includes endorsements though, outside of their contractual relationships with teams.

Not for his.....I think his is an early 80's.....he bought it used, and for the amount of hours on it's airframe and engines that's about all it is worth.

directly from NASCAR.com----- * -- Estimates based on past and pending deals, sponsorship agreements and scale of operations.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
bottom line, robby makes the least amount of money, but he doesn't have the least operating income. he will stay afloat above other teams, and he will be around for at least till 2009 or '10.
