Yokahama seem to work the best for the rear of a class 9 car, plus they meet the rules.BfGs are great ran them through the summit in baja at a baja 1000 then at a barstow race 3 weeks later with no problems(same set)but sizing is a bit difficult in the models you can run.Post this up in the class 9 forum on this site you'll get a lot of feed back from all of us 9 car guys on this issue.
good luck

i myself run a BFG on my 12 car..... but being a 9 car id run Yokes! you are down on power and the yokes are less rotational weight... the motor doesnt have to work as hard!

I run BFG's on my 5-1600 in Baja and any races with lots of sand I run the yoko's...My old tranny I ran a stock tranny and BFG's ran great...but it seams all 9 cars run yoko's..they are 140.00 at Race Ready and 110.00 for BFG's at costco i run 31" bfgs..

Thats on the rear..The front I run only yoko's and I have them shave the corners off the tire at Parkhouse. They won't do it without them mounted on the rim.
