Hi Guys,

I change my 091 tranny oil each race, but I only have regular oil available here with a Lucas manual tranny treatment.

I was wondering how often you guys change your tranny oil and what brand of oil and additives you recommend.

After Every Race, and refilled with Redline Heavy Shockproof.
It also get's tested for metal, and after this rebuild by WR Racing, it will now get a real oil sample everytime we change the oil.

What about for a turbo 400? How often do you guys change that?

in my c4 i run swepco, best stuff, i run two coolers and the trans is behind a 302, hottest temp is 175.

When we ran that style of trans, I always used the Red Line Green. I don't know if it's still around but that worked great for us. It was a Dave Foltz built and he was very happy with the results back then.

Just wanna bump this back up...

ive been reading alot about the C4 and noticed no one uses the type F fluid... why is that?

and if i were to drain out the trans fluid(type F), would i have to get it entirely flushed and with what solvent would you guys recommend to do this?
