Did you hit it with soapy water to see exactly where the air is coming from?

It's really important to work the ring on evenly, otherwise it will push the tire to one side and create leaks as well as make it a pain to balance. I usually use a 1/4" drive air ratchet to speed up getting the bolts close. Once I get the bolts to about 60-70 in/lb with the 1/4" then I go to the torque wrench and torque to spec in 4 steps (my wheels call for ~18ft/lb so I usually step it at 5,10,15 and 18ft/lb). Make sure you don't go to your final torque on the first step, work them evenly going from one side of the wheel to the other then rotate 90degrees from that position and repeat. Also use plenty of anti-seeze. I may go a little over board on setting them up but I never have any problems with my wheels.

I find that improper installation is usually the most common reason for a leak. Creynolds is dead on!
