Pegasus is great because it is close...lanes and straights are too small to have a bitchen time, but I am down to go and have a good time. I can probably swing somethign after san felipe.

Hey guys,

Kris is right , lets do it after the 250 . I'm leaving this weekend , almost forgot ! If ya guys want to go to
Pegasus, cool with me !! I just might buy that gas car instead of dealing with a charger every 15 minutes. Let's wait about 3 weeks ! Don't worry if ya don't have a car , This will be my first hardcore RC car so 10 year olds will be laughing at me , I'll hand off the controller so they can laugh at you too !!J/K !!

I'm ready, also there is a outdoor track over here by my work, it is a bit bigger then pegasus, and there is hardly any one ever on it. it is at the Cristal park Casino in Rancho Dominguez/ Compton. They also have a road track that we can run on, but we have to have clean cars to run on it,,, no dirt.. We can run on it first before the offroad track, I'll use some ZIP ties to lower my T-Max!!!
HAHA. let me know what you guys decide....

Pegasus redid their track not to long ago, and its pretty crazy. I'd say its really made for 1/8 buggies now. They have a set of doubles that are probably about 2.5 feet high each. If you get a good start, you can double them up, or if you have a really fast car, hit 3, then 1. I took my MT Racer (still waiting on my tax return money for the rest of my parts for my MP7.5) there this weekend, and was having a hard time on the jumps. Id say if you guys want to go there, make sure its on a saturday after one of their friday night races, and make sure you all ge there first thing when they open. That way the track is still semi prepped from the night before and there won't be too many people. Otherwise, the track gets really rutted up and it makes it really hard to take some of the jumps without crashing hard/ breaking parts.

How recent was this track change? Unless they broke down some walls and added more area...that track no matter what configuration is not a good 1/8 scale track...its tight for 10th scale and I am pretty experienced. If you go on Firday nights and watch the 1/8 scale races, there is a kid (9 or 10 and has to stand on a crate to see the track good) that whoops up on everybody by at least a lap...he is factory backed and fast.

Go early whil ethe track is still groomed? Damn!!! Ever race at Barstow? Try that track after 4-6 laps during an MDR race! Maybe we should have BITD put on the RC race! (lol)

I would say maybe about a month and a half ago that they changed the track. But you are right in that sense that its not for 1/8 scale. I mean by the size of most of the jumps they make that its better suited for them. Way too big for anything else to clear, especially once its gets rutted. Maybe its because buggies are so much easier to manuver in the air that it looks easy for them. Thats just the way I see it though. I've only been back into r/c for a year, so I don't have that much experience. It just seems like each time they change the track, they make the jumps bigger and bigger. At least it keeps people in the store buying parts.

Good point on the parts thing...prbably why they dont slip fit the PVC either...tag a corner at 40 and catch an open pipe and it cleans the front end off your car...not cheap to fix

They are racing at Pegasus tonight if anyone was interested. Racing is every other friday night. I think it starts around 8 or so. I'll be there for a little while. I need more practice with my buggy before I start racing.

There is also a track at the end of Osterman in Lake Forest.
Head East on Lake Forest, Right on Pittsford, Left on Osterman, and all the way at the end of the street in a dirt field.
