Axle tubes

Was wondering if you guys ever used CM tubing for axle tubes, if so what thickness did you buy and is it a pain to do, thankyou in advance for all your help

Buy CM you mean chromoly? Yes, most good rears ends have chromoly tubes.

When we asked our trans builder (Leighton) his response was that most run stock tubes...the exception being Murray's 998 and one other car.
