I'm trying to work through a driveline vibration @ full droop. Currently running 1350 u-joints @ the transmission. Lucked into a 1410 size yoke for the transmission. What's your opinion on the 1410 size u-joint helping the vibration. The driveline angle is 27 degrees at full droop.

Won't make any differance.

Might have to use a two piece driveshaft your angle sounds a bit steep. Or change the angle of pinion flange.

A double cardan joint will eliminate the vibration @ full droop.

And blow up in about 200 miles.

Has been working great on all the TL's.

Hello,
The problem is with drive shaft angles.
The trans side joint is angling more then the pinion side.
You will not have a change in Drive shaft angle due to a larger or smaller joint.
You will need to come up with a solution that equalizes the Angles.
If you use a Constant Velocity joint on one end and not the other, you are not equalizing the joint angles.

Not really a good comparison, Less weight, power, angle, tire size......

A c/v will fix the problem -the diff angle will be close enough in many cases to work at full droop- And the corney Is possibly on eto look at but its made in China -and costs a bundle- and if the U joints go bad the whole c/v needs to be replaced- here's a pic of what we are doing- Jess
