I need just a t400 case for mock up anyone know where besides pulling one from a junkyard i could come up on one?

i know some one makes a plastic molded of them i just don't know who sorry hope this helps

yeah i found a few plastic models but they are quite pricey. imight just end up buying my transmission sooner rather then later if i cant find a cheap aka free case

I would think your best bet would be find a broken tranny from a junk yard and strip out the case. Most of the plastic replica transmissions start at around $250. Kind of expensive for one time use. Check craigslist or E-bay. I saw a few mock-up transmissions listed but they have already been sold.
Here is a link to one company, but it doesn't mention if it comes with a fixed yoke output.

Call your local trans guy and ask for an empty case. Any builder will have some laying around.

it would make for a fun weekend im sure as a few of my buddies are from up there. maybe ill see if one of them is headed up there anytime soon. If not ill hit you up in a few weeks after the off road expo
