Also, try Kartek: http://www.kartek.com/products/all/fab/fab.htm
Or Van Sant/Trick Tools: http://www.vansantent.com/sheet_metal_machines/dimple_dies.htm
Or De Nuzio: http://www.denunzioracing.com/shop/denunzio/dimpledies.html

kind of an offshoot, but does anyone make a set of dimple dies that fit the holes created by conduit knockouts (greenlee et al)? you can find those punches used all over the place, but never any of the true dimensional sizes... I have a set of light racing ones, but have seen a post recently on the fact that they are now marked as made in china on the packaging...

JMR Manufacturing just started making dies for this application. Check out jmrmfg.com
They are not on the website yet but you can get the info you need by calling direct. They will be available with a hydraulic puller so you won't need to go to the press to make your dimples.

Personally I like the Lighht Racing dies. Best shape, radius. Not sure of the material but they are defenitily hardened on the surface to at least .060 or so deep (case hardened ?)I've blown a few up and you can see the different grain structure near the surface. I use them production wise and hands down the surface last 20 times longer then some others (I've not used the JMR dies).

those ones from mid america are like the ones irvan-smith sells. those are for light gage sheet metal.i wouldn't want to try it with a piece of 4130 or 12 ga m/s. they work alright with alum sheet.

Does anyone have any blueprints for some dimple dies. I could use a set because with my next check i am going to get going on my truck and my buddy wants me to fab some stuff for his xj. I have access to a haas tm1 and tl1,also a haas mill and lathe center with 4axis capability.
