Unfortunately, you are one year off. If you got a 97, you would have I beams. :( Look at camburg.com, this should be the link for you: http://camburg.com/fords98RangerP.html Also, try to talk with Jerry Zaiden, he will let you know the best way to go- Have fun with the build!

Nothing wrong with a arm rangers. Once you get past the bent beams and coilovers stage on a I beam truck they are very similar in price to build and in performance. This is mine. We also build a front end kit for them.

Good luck with your project... dont worry, it will eventually drain you of all your time and money.

I'm surprised Helton didn't beat me to it, but take a good look at Blitzkrieg's Ranger kit. It's as good if not better imo than Camburg and it's a few hundred dollars cheaper. I've seen that kit go through some serious stuff with no problems what so ever. www.bmsoffroad.com

The 3.0l. engines aren't.. "bad" but there are a lot of guys that can squeez a 5.0 in. I don't know what you're budget is, but if you're not planning on racing it in any certain class that would be the ideal way. RDC always has post of people selling 4.0's for dirt cheap which would be an easier swap. Keep us up on the build in show 'n tell.

x2 from above.
