Is it neccessary in a race vehicle to weld the cab, ( the a-pillars) to the roll cage. It seems to me my cab has been flexin and where it joins together on the floor, the cab seems to be coming apart. Why, where, and how would u connect the cab to the cage, to keep the cab from riping off the truck? What does connecting it really do?

I conected mine for that exact same reason, and together they are stronger

Connect the A-pillars, B, and C-pillars (if you have them). I would also plate the cross tube between the A-pillars to the roof and as much of the rear firewall to the rear cross brace. That should be more than enough to keep your cab intact.

Thanks. I never realized it till after the last race, but it seems as if my cab is going to rip itslef in half one of these days. Do you just weld straight to the cab? Are there any points stronger and thicker to wled to than others?
