i am noticing that all off the important forum post, ie land closure issues are basically ignored by alot of the frequent posters. more people are concerned with trying to find pics of the vw tt, than are concerned with the fact that the land they are testing the vw tt on is about to get closed. i really feel that rdc needs to be more active in the political side of things, as it is a great off road media outlet that is held to the highest regard by the off road community. when i first became a member(been a lurker for a long time!) i was made to post a comment in the "hi my name is..." forum. I feel that to become a member, and retain current membership, members should be made to take an active role in the fight against land closure. it could simply mean filling an online petition, or letter like is going around for Johnson Valley. Or just like car clubs do, have annual dues that are used to fight the good fight. i am sure you could come up with some ideas to get your members more involved. Please help to get these people to pay attention!
