I have a 75 F100 and i am using 1 ton forged beams on it from a 73 F350.... The problem I am having is the bearings that i picked up to go into the hubs, the outer bearing (smaller one) fits absolutely perfect in the race in the hub... but the inner bearing (the larger one) doesn't fit that great.... is this how it is supposed to fit? or not?
Inner Bearing # Timken LM501349 and the race that i have for that bearing is #timken LM102910. The bearing fits fine on the spindle itself, (spindle is also off the same F350 as the beams came from). The hubs are the Sandy Cone "Cast 1 ton auto fab hubs". is a little slop on the inner bearing acceptable, or should it fit percise as my outer (smaller) bearing fits?
Please help
