Anyone used one before? Seems like I could possibly use one, the two I looked at were around $100 but looked like a niece piece of hardware. So the deal is what ever cam you put in you can still roll past it to full throttle right? Are these worth it to say more of a beginning rider like me? Or do I just need to suck it up and learn better throttle control?:D:eek::)

your stock throttle will be fine. would not waste the money. put the money into other parts that will make the bike easier for you to ride. what have you done to it so far?

I have about $4k in aftermarket, everything but suspension and lights/electrical.

I'd say that's enough. No need to buy more parts until you break an OEM part.

And that wont ake long because it's a KTM:D:p:p:p:p:p;)

BMW next year.

And Honda now owns Baja, after Kawi owned it.

the suspension should have come first. Riding a bike sprung for the rider rides like a dream compared to a stock bike. It's all about seat time to cure the whiskey throttle. don't waste your $$$$

The suspension is next on the list. Actually the spring from the factory is almost EXACTLY what I weigh weird enough. But yeah I know, just dont have $700-$1200 to blow on suspension right now. Well see after San Felo how well the suspension does, I can still adjust the spring preload and clickers while Im out there so I guess Ill just have to make due.

you should not need to spend that much on suspension. if that rear spring is the right weight range all they have to do is valving work for under 200. front should be close too. if you are riding desert the first three things i would do to a bike is steering stabilizer, suspension, desert tank. after that it is a matter of opinion. i would not use that money on that. your stock stuff will be fine.

I would bet that as a beginning rider, you will be more than happy with stock suspension, just take the time to set the sag and adjust the clickers and I bet you will be content. I'm totally happy with the stock suspension on my '84 KX. The only place that modern bikes are much better is the whoops.

good man. the scotts is the best i have ever ridden. was sponsored by gpr and they would fall apart after almost every race. we have a scotts on one of our race bikes that has easily a few thousand miles on it and it got an oil change and good as new. i would not waste the money. use it to go riding.
