Great products. Very off-road and RDC friendly.

true flow. Got one on my sierra. They come with a cleanable foam filter. The tube is straight flowing, and the foam is free flowing also.

Do you know your HP, Torque, and MPG gains with the true flow?

Intakes and exhaust will barely do anything unless you tune it correctly. Once you toss that stuff on your a/f ratio gets jacked up. Gas mileage goes away to when your a/f is off. Id go with an S & B or K & n FIPK2. We did the same thing on a buddies truck to see what adding aftermarket parts and look and see what they really did.

The truck dyno'd around 305 hp. Tossed an intake on. 310 Headers and cat back 320. Tuned it to its happy a/f ratio on 89 octane 342 91 octane 362 this is all at the wheels. Invest in some good software like HP Tuners or something you can connect to a lap top and tweak on. Not every car or truck was built or runs identical to the one each manufacture used to develop there aftermarket part. It becomes more of a trial and error. Our testing was on an 06 titan KC 2wd.

I dont know what the exact numbers were when I did it. But I also added the catback at the same time. And then after a while I did the full headers/cats and a custom dynoed tune.

If you want to get better hp/performance/mileage, then do an intake, exhaust, and tune. If you still want/need more power, you'll want some kind of forced induction system, or drop in and build up a 6.0L. And if you want something no one will touch build a 6.0L, do all the exhaust, intake tune, and FI.... :D

When I get some money I plan on swaping out my 5.3 and putting in a 6.0L.

+1 on the custom tune or the home computer program to tune it yourself.

I have a volant intake, superchiped, magnaflo cat back 6.0L k2500 chevy. Very fast and low gas milage around town. Denver. Though, last summer it did avg. 19 mpg on a family trip to Las Vegas. I did set the cruse at 75 max. It halls the mail towing over Loveland and Vail pass. I run 85 oct. here in Denver and 91 when i am pulling hard over the mountain. Sometimes reminds me of when I was a kid in high school driving a 69 Camero. Damn, Gas was cheep in the mid 70's.

Do you have the "True Flow XDI Cold Air Intake System" or just the foam replacement kit?

looks like ^ is just trying to make some money which is cool and stuff but, I dont think you can say the AEM is the best by far unless you have tried them all and dynoed..... If its an amazing deal better than everyone else or other products that to the same, look into it but.....(no offense jerry)

I have the full system by the way...it uses the stock box, but the tube to the intake is straight, and the filter is a more free flowing foam. Its done me well...
