This is the closest I have seen of a boat that reminds me of pre-running

It's funny how they really have to let off when the water gets a little rough or they'll get tossed.:D Boat sounds bad*#@ though!!!

The only reason they slow down is to keep from centerpunching their boat on an underwater boulder or debris. The water in those sections can be less than two feet deep. I've watched these boats come through the Hell's Canyon section of the Rogue River many times. (At about 1:55 in the video) Those guys haul a** and know how to drive.

some actually have a roll cage. or at least a roll bar and are straped in.
2 feet of water is actually deep in some cases. We just ran this river and we were in 10 inches of water at times.

There is some boat race that is held in a man made lake I think and there's a bunch of islands in it. The co-dawg just signals with his hand which direction to go.
These boats have full cages too because sometimes they end up hitting the embankments and rollover. Anyone else every see it? It's pretty gnarly.

Man I've eaten it pretty bad water skiing... water f'n HURTS!! I don't know what would be worse flipping at a high speed in the water or flipping at a high speed on dirt... I guess on dirt at least you don't have to worry about drowning too!! Don't get me wrong I LOVE the water but WOW!!! It till looks too intense! I've been on those air boats through the Everglades in FL going like 50 in 2 inches of water and that was pretty intense to!!

The boats never get going that fast. Imagine a go kart track for boats. They get to about 40 mph maybe 50 but they are just whipping them around so quick it's mind boggling.

still pretty nuts!! :) I like driving boats but it is a TOTALLY different feeling then driving a vehicle with wheels :) I think it's the fact that you don't really have brakes -you just have to be really good!! :D

No I didn't and you know it. Leave the misquotes in the WTAR.
And I know what you're talking about.

Okay, this is what I'm on about. Look at the co-dawg. Watch his hands, he is the gps.

Great video. They're definitely better at driving than they are at spelling... "Amercian?" (end of the video)
