yes Andrew and I have had a few conversations and he seems to be a great guy.He even tried to help get the Metal Mulisha out to the Make A Wish event.Little hard to follow sometimes but still a good kid.He sure went off on race addict when he was told what he did tho.

Man oh mannn.. Where do I begin!?!?! I have so many Andrew aka Rew stories I could write a NOVEL!!

I hadn't known him very long but my fam and I were camping in San Clemente so I invited him out.. He was such a sweetheart he brought out Metal Mulisha posters AND stickers for my lil bro (well he's not THAT lil .. he's 19) and for my 2 lil cousins. Not many people think of the kiddies and what would stoke them out! So that was SUPERRRRR cool of him!!

Then we just started hanging ALL of the time.. He met me out at various CORR races while I was working, once again his generosity NEVER ceases to amaze me! He remembered how much I HATED the food offered and he brought in food for me from outside the hosting venue!

He met Brandon and I out at Silver Strand State Beach for a weekend asked what we were cookin' and showed up with his own meat -- fully prepped ready to be grilled, AND his own baked potatoe ready to go, wrapped in foil, etc.

He made my Birthday dinner/night out very special! He attended, hang out with the group, and entertained us at Pinkberry with his METAL MULISHA sticker!

He made my gf's Birthday dinner and that was totally sweet!

The first time we took him to Pole Position in Corona was .......... PRICELESS!!!!! He was NOT going to race because he's a very LOYAL Rockstar Energy Drink guy ... P2R aka Pole Position has MONSTER. We teased him alllll night about that.. soo funny! The first few times he took it easy .... and now we go balls out and hit, spin eachother out, etc. it's RAD! Such a GREAT time!

He is very loyal to the DA! I have spent time with him at the races and the DA is his LIFE .. Well a portion... I think Deegan and PAB are a close tie for the win! ;)

I have many many stories but he will have to come on and remind me of some of them! They all start to blurrrrr together after awhile! He always comes more than prepared, is ALWAYS willing to help in any way he can, he has ONE of the BIGGEST hearts of ANYBODY I have ever met! He truly is an amazing guy! I am soooo happy to call him a friend!

I love spending time with Andrew and as we always say; WE ARE BEST BROTHER AND SISTERHOODS.

Kicker is cool, he lives just around the corner from me so I see him dailey as he drives by. (I happened to have a little text session with him tonite) He came and helped us paint when we moved in, he text me when my son was born to see if he could drop by and see my boy (Seth Parker Lothringer) he loves racing, and the DA. He used to work at the state park and would always pick me out of a crowd as he drove by, no matter how many people where around. well my kicker story all started when i made fun of Jenn right here on good ole RDC. kick didnt take to kind to my joke and pm me up the ying yang telling me to be nice. finally i told him i was sorry and that wasnt enough, we finally met at jenns b-day party and he acted like he was going to kill me all night:) it was awesome. then we went to pole position a couple times and finally he gave me a high five and text me that yes we were friends.

if everyone would take a step back and look at life the way kicker does i think the world would be a much better place full of loyal people.

I've only met Kicker on 2 separate occasions. At the 2008 SCORE Primm 300 for about .......................... that much. And then once again at the RDC meet and greet held before Halloween. I gotta say Kicker (And I call him that because he kicks ass) in one enthusiastic son of a gun. He smiled the entire time I saw him. I don't think he is capable of actually frowning. Just a big 'ole grin. :D:D

Never had the pleasure to meet Kicker so my stories are limited to his messages on RDC. He says what needs to be said in very short order and has great knowledge of anything he contributes to. Some people like me can learn a great deal from him.

Just so you know we recently had a mass banning that was started in the purple section. (Remember the Obama joke thread that turned racist real quick?) Anyways, Pops was one of the guys that got banned for a comment in there. Once his ban was lifted he immediately was back on rdc and started a thread to apologize for his post. http://www.race-dezert.com/forum/showthread.php?t=53292 There were a lot of people that got banned for that thread but few "manned up" and apologized.

He made a mistake and upon recognizing his error he took actions to correct it. I am hopeful that this will happen again.

Perhaps his quick judgment concerning kicks grammar is matched only by our quick judgment of him...


Just something to think about before the hounds are unleashed.

For the record, Kicker is still my favorite RDC poster.

Andrew can sign but doesn't!!!!! He is a PUNK about it! haha ... He prefers to text... If you don't have your phone, he'll hand over his Sidekick where he will type out a message!~ And since I initially started hanging out with him until now his vocabulary has expanded greatly. He will have me MOUTH something like my name and he will repeat it several times until I say YES meaning the way he got it out sounds right, I love it when he talks. We were at a pizza place and Nick Dempkowski was being annoying I don't know HOW Andrew (Kicker) picked up on it but out of no where he shouted "shut up"..... We all just paused, looked at eachother, and started cracking up! I met Kicker back in '03 or '04 when I was working at Prep by Jake when PAB and Clyde were running the "Prophy truck", he used to hangout at the shop and just loved being around there hanging with all of us. One day the UPS guy was making a delivery and we told Kicker to sign for it and the UPS guy asked for his name to verify the signature and we told him Kicker... the look on his face was priceless! Kicker is a class act for sure, always with a BIG smile on his face and a big thumbs up! Its always a great time when hes around.

Its a truely funny story how i met Kicker. Back in the day (3yrs ago) i had some offroad pics up on myspace and he added me and asked if i knew "pab" and the DA etc. I had no idea Cameron's nickname was "pab" at the time and was like wtf is this kid talking about. Of course his sentences did make much sense either but i put them together. we text off and on for a few months and he wanted to meet up just like everyone else. i ended up getting hired working for Cameron and the DA and my first day on the job Kicker was down at the shop. I asked bean who that kid was and he said Sidekick! all his mixed sentences and text all made perfect sense!!! haha he knew who i was instantly and we've been "doggie homies" since! he truely loves offroading, PAB, DEEGS, the DA and MMA. im pretty sure Kicker can take care of himself too hes a strong dude! MMA training is paying off!

He's been hanging out with Apple and a bunch of the Metal Mulisha MMA fighters and training at a gym with them..........

The other night at Speedway at the OC Fair Grounds the Mulisha did a jump show and some dude came to the pits and was mouthing off........

Next thing everyone knows Kicker is grabbing the dude by the scruff of the neck like a little puppy and dragging him out of the pits........

Something must have got into Kicker's Cheerios that day cause later on that night at Molly Blooms Irish Pub in SC he got all over some dude that was messing around there too......

Kinda funny since the guy is the nicest guy in the whole world. If you mess with one of his friends there is no telling what he will do.........The words "Loyal Friend" means something to Kicker and I am very grateful that I can call him my friend.

Seriously, when I first joined RDC and met the DA crew I did research on them to see what they were about. I found out about the whole crew on an old website PAB had. It explained sidekick and where he came from.

Kicker is just a part of what the DA is. The DA is about sharing the love that is being a family of people that enjoy being in the desert riding/driving/experiencing what it offers. There is probably not a more solid group of people to be with then this crowd, they always have your back no matter who you are.

Kick is amazing, we are good buddies to say the least and I think I owe it all to The Greek, in San Clemente everyone has a nick name.

Back about 8, 9 or 10 years I was chillin' in the garage with the neighborhood kids, I rode and they all were pretty green but getting it together on bikes. Nick "Nick the Greek the Butt Hole Freak" Brown, did a Kick drop off at my house. You see I was a TV type host and kept the work hours of a dope dealer, basically home all the time with not much to do, the kids would come by and we would ride or what ever. Greek stops by with Andrew and I'm like who's the new guy? Greek tells me he goes to school with him and although there is a few people around I soon notice no Greek but there is Kick chillin.

Truth is that Kick is one of my closest friends and we do spend a lot of time together, at least we used to until some of the MM and RDC peeps started taking over the top of his text list.

Kick is pretty tuned in and is on the pulse of what is up more than most would know.


I have few Kick stories, enough to fill a novel for sure....Classic is the first time I take him to Baja pre running. When you are suddenly responsible for a person that can not communicate in Spanish and his phone doesn't work there are some serious implications. Honestly I was pretty worried but then I really thought about myself being worried and then realized how f ing scary Baja must be to Kick? He never looked nervous and never panicked and did just what he should have, I was impressed that I never had to try and sort out where he was. That trip he spent about 6 days in the 4 seater and he was a blast, for sure he understands everything because it wasn't long before he was pointing lines out to me!

For a short time Trigger (aka 15x) lived in the hood and I think he scared Kick a bit. Trigger is the nicest guy in the world to kids and tried to give Kick a poster or something and Kick ran from him! LOL That was years ago but Trigger still tells the story so funny!

Really funny is the relationships he has made over the years with the crew. To date I think only Crap has wrestled Kick and actually put him down, like 7 years ago, no chance now! I think the other kids have helped to teach Kick the way it is and they have never treated him any different than anyone else....everyone gets heckled and picked on around here, even the preachers.

For me I really dig cooking with Andrew, I keep telling him to invite his family but he keeps resisting! I always make him clean and pull the cilantro off the stems and I know he thinks I am picking on him. I think he is realizing we all contribute regardless of experience and although he wants to stir the taco meat he knows he has to clean the cilantro first! He really wants Cody to do the cilantro!

Anyone else have to make Kick serve himself last when making dinner, man he can put some grub away, where does he put it?

I know Kick is reading all of this along with his Mom who has recently been clued in to RDC. I hope that he keeps working on his speaking as I am really proud of the words he says, even if they are at times mostly profanity!

I met Andrew 3 years ago at the Pro1600 race in Plaster city. I have never met someone so genuinely excited to be in the desert. Evertime I see Kicker I am met with a bear hug followed by a flury of Punches to the chest and arms. His way of showing he likes you. Only Problem is I dont think he knows how strong he is. lol
I didnt know Kicker didnt drink untill the 80s party last year. He comes up to me with a bottle of kettle one shoving it in my face. Im like "alright dick you want to do some shots huh." I get done pounding a huge gulp of Vodka and hand it back to him. I tell him "now its your turn." Its at this point he informs me he doesnt drink. With a loud laugh Andrew turns and heads to his next victim. Im still trying to figure out how to get him back......

Even in Baja Kicker knows where he is anywhere once he has preran once, he knows the lines. Its good to know Kick is not pointing at everything every 2 minutes while prerunning:eek:, that took just alittle bit of getting use too!
I have had Kick in my prerunner Naving for me in baja and he is one of the best; anytime Andrew! :)



He is very aware of his surroundings at all times, more aware than any of us I guarantee it.. I suppose he has to be... It's truly amazing!

Never met this guy Sidekicker, although we've PM'd each other I think regarding the status of Mrs. Pab and how well she was doing at a race earlier this year, but from what I've read, he seems like an all right guy. I have known Kicker now for a couple of years - met him with the DA... He is an extremely sweet, intelligent and fun guy - and very protective of those he's close to... You gotta be on your toes around him 'cause he loves to play practical jokes and get right in the mix of things :eek: ;) - he gives what he gets, thats for sure haha... he always, always greets me with a great big HUG and a SMILE that is highly contagious - in fact, i've never not seen Andrew smiling or happy... You could be having the worst day of the year and he just has that thing about him that makes the clouds go away and the sun shine... He is an absolute diamond in the rough and once you meet him, you will see everything we've come to love about him... Like the old saying goes, actions speak louder than words :D He is the definition of "friend."

I met kicker through here on RDC when he Im'd me about PAB's position during the 2006 Baja 1000. Ever since then we talk on instant messenger about once or twice a week. Granted, I've never had the chance to meet him personally because our schedules never seem to line up, but from the conversations we've had, he is a genuine nice guy with a big heart. In fact it bums me out that I've never had the chance to meet him face to face and hang out with him. There seems to be so many good things to be said about him and I look forward to the day when I can actually meet him him face to face. Kicker is a cool kid, met him at the last CV CORR race, hung around with our crew for most of the day, flipped everyone a little crap, drank some beer. Someone else said he is very protective, I saw that too as he made sure Jenn and her friend Erin were taken care of well and had averything they needed. He loves this stuff and that right there makes him a good guy in my book.

I have not known Kicker that long. I met him when I first started working on the trucks. He was one of the first ones to come and make me feel at home in the DA family. The great thing about it is he will never be left out he is always in Christine and my thoughts. When we are in Baja Kick and my wife Christine keep in touch and keep us up to date on what's going on. Even in weeks we are not racing I can always count on kicker giving me a text just to say what's up!

Well what can I say about Sidekick?! He is such a great guy and although we have never met in person (YET!), he is no doubt a friend I will have for a lifetime. Got my Kicker card on Saturday!
Also, I took Andrew to the Johnson Valley fun ride on Saturday. Overall it was a good time.
To start the day, I had to drive to pick up a trailer in Corona and the pre-runner. I wanted Andrew to meet me at starbucks. I gave him the address, He puts it in GPS.

5:45am-I get a text from kicker "I'm on my way. Do you like Slayer"
6:30am I am lost. My GPS is F***** up.

so now i try to text him directions, bad idea.

Eventually I had to pick him up in Mira Loma because he went to a familiar place.

7:30am- we start heading up the hill. He hands me the Slayer CD and tells me to put it on track 5.:confused: How the heck.....LMAO

We finally get up there and start cruisin around. I am pretty sure he had a good time, He was making fun of the other people in our group, he was making fun of the guy driving our pre-runner everytime he missed a shift.

Once again I had a great time with Andrew, He made all of us laugh and I am pretty ure he liked it.

Like many of you I met kick through Cam and Heidi. He's been over to the house a few times, and him and my son go kart and hang sometimes. Very cool guy!

Here's a Kicker story:

We're at Primm, PAB's got the TT16 on loan at the time from Jesse Jones but has a scheduling conflict with a Supercross gig in San Diego and has to road trip to pay the bills. He puts a great buggy dude in for his first TT drive, and while looking very fast and killin' it, finds a Class 8 in the dust. After a tow in, the damage to the front sway bar and coolers is substantial (see pics). As the repairs start to be planned out, I notice oil running out of the oil coolers. Thinking no bueno for the Primm parking lot and our future racing there, I quickly search and yell for a drain/drip pan - nada! Kickers there and can see me running around looking for something, so I point to the oil running out and off runs kick. He's back in seconds taking care of the spill...

He's got a hundred PAB/Yokahama posters under the truck:D
