Well, I am 16 years old and I need a job. I’ve been trying to get into the entire off road fabrication stuff. Is their any company around the El Cajon area for off road fab that I can get a job at or an internship? I want to learn more about it and welling just to watch and clean up the shop.

Also, what is the best way to learn the fabrication stuff? I’ve taken auto in school; I got a welder at home. I think to build a go kart will be good but I don’t know like what design I need?

Thanks,
Brandon

Sorry if i posted this in the wrong place.

Peezy, I like your style. You've asked a lot of cool questions and made some good comments for a 16 year old. Keep being smart, keep wanting to learn, pay attention, and you will go far no matter what you do. Remember, it's what you DON'T KNOW that's important, not what you do know. The other thing is attention to detail, that's a tough thing to teach to people, so focus on that a lot.... Good luck Peezy!

well your looking in the right place- El Cajon is probably the off road capitol of the US. Unfortunatley this is a bad time to need a job & since the economy is so poor, recreation companies are probably one of the most hard hit in this economy

good luck, open the yellow pages and start pounding the pavement.
