All, I got a call from my wife on Wednesday that noone needs to get,
We were headed to Parker for the weekend and taking our beloved Buzzy to do a little testing, so I was in the F250 with the race trailer, and Judy and Tamara had the Motorhome. They were out of my site for just a minute, when I got a frantic call on the cell phone from Judy, saying the Motorhome was on FIRE. (HOLY *****), "GET OUT" was all the advise I could give. I got there as a wonderful Marine and a retired Fire Fighter were putting the fire out. (They stopped it, but there is still Alot of Damage).
Everyone was OK and we went ahead to Parker, (without the motorhome) and had a great Thanksgiving.
But..........
If you own an RV of any kind, please check to see if you have a Dometic Refrigerator in it. As we have found out since Wednesday, there is a recall on these due to a severe fire hazard. Duh....
If you Google them all of the info including model and serial numbers effected by the recall are available.
Please learn from the Blue Buzzard-B-Q......Check it out now, before your RV goes up in flames.
This is a serious problem that effects alot of RV's, so please if you have not received your recall, CHECK IT OUT!!!

Are they going to help cover any of the damage??

Our insurance person says that the insurance company will go after them to get them to pay, amd there is some info on the web for class action suits against the company allready, so hopefully they have the funds to fix it.....

A person I work with bought a old old trailer that had one of those fridges in it and he got a new fridge from them.I think he had a fire too but don't really remember.
I know he said the fridge he got was a upgraded one from what he had.
