i have a fresh built chevy 350. i started off building a stock 350 just so that it'll run.. but started buying aftermarket parts and now i pretty much have a built 350 w stock bottom end. lol.... its 40 ovr, mild cam, alum 202 heads etc... im thinking of doing a 383 and want to knw wat it all involves? do i need a whole new complete kit for it? can i reuse anything since its still new? only ran for like 5min total....

Talk to SCAT Enterprises. I went through them for my crank, rods & pistons for my 408 stroker 351w build and they were very helpful. My engine builder was very impressed with the parts.

Min you would need crank, new damper, flex plate, and pistons..
