CAL-CITY, THE “JEWEL OF THE DESERT”TM PRESENTS
1st ANNUAL CAL-CITY “OFF-ROAD DAYS”TM
May 22-24, 2009 - PROPR in association with California City EDC will present the “1st Annual CAL-CITY OFF-ROAD DAYS” TM. Three days of incredible OHV activities and programs that will attract a record number of people and will establish California City as the last bastion for off-roaders, outdoor and recreational activities in Southern California. The City Welcomes All Off-Roaders!
PROPR is staging a weekend full of activities that will include a major OHV parade, featuring some of the most exotic competition motorcycles, ATVs, Quads, UTVs, Trophy Karts, China Lights, plus 4WD vehicles, race buggies, Bajas and trucks, pre-run and sand-fun buggies; the largest outdoor Manufacturer’s Expo, Factory Demos, the “Monster After-Market Maze,” Dealers Corner, First Annual “Desert Sweep-up Days,” the “First Annual OFF-ROAD DAYS Desert Games,” music, drawing for special prizes, food courts, the world’s largest beer garden and Sunday afternoon’s colossal “TORTILLA FLATS TACO FEAST” free for participants in the “clean-up.”
Everyone in the sport and business community is invited to the First Annual CAL-CITY OFF-ROAD DAYS. A special vendor’s area as well as food courts will be centered in town, plus wall-to-wall activities for the general public with special games, raffles and OHV competitions.
General Admission is FREE, display and retail booths offered at a minimal “First-time Charter Rate” for this event only. Get your reservation(s) for your spot early. Parking is available for RVs in the center of town (make your reservations early) and for general public.
Tentative schedule: Friday evening, May 22, Opening of Expo booths and vendor displays, the Monster Market Maze, live music, Desert Nights concert and a welcoming party for all vendors. Saturday, May 23, the first-ever “OFF-ROAD DAYS Parade” in the center of town, plus Expo and Monster Market Maze, the first annual “OFF-ROAD DAYS Desert Games” (all day events) and Saturday night “Krazy Karaoke Kontest” ($1,000 to the winner-limited entry) and the “Concert Under the Prairie Sky.” Sunday, May 24, is the “First Annual Cal-City Desert Clean-Up Day,” with special prizes for the most trash brought in from the desert, the most unique find and the Club’s Trophy. In addition, special awards will be handed out for the weekend of fun and the most incredible “TORTILLA FLATS TACO FEAST!” (Free for clean-up participants and vendors.)
