Great job on the overall and each of the race wins! Team Rash won two class championships this year with MORE. Class 9 and 1300. Way to go!

I second that. Justin and Cody flat dominated the the niners. Debbie and Beau had some huge wins in 1300 after missing the first race of the year. FAIR is proud of you guys and keep it up next year!

Thank You Dave and Kevin!!!!!
We are SO EXCITED that 2008 was a really great year for us!!!! Ron has been working hard at this Class 9 racing for a few years now and I think he's got the priorities down. Add a little mixture of Justin and Cody and its the whole package!!!! We all love the desert, the racing and the competition. Jim @ MORE puts on a good 'affordable' race series. The Rash's have so much fun at the MORE races, we've talked about it and really don't see a need to go elsewhere and spend more $$$, not have as much competition and not have near as much fun!!!! And if you can drive Barstow, you can drive anywhere!
I had only driven 2 races in our ex-2-seater Class 9 car in 2007 (Now known as Car #990, which before us was owned by Folts). I told Ron that I wasn't young enough anymore to race in Class 9. <G> So we found Car #1321 sitting in a friend's storage container. We had some issues with the front-end set-up the first couple of races in 2008 but got that taken care of with Gary Seagrove's expertise (Fast Iron Fabrication). And THANKS to Beau Rash and his cousin, Corey, they bring it home everytime so far. That is the main reason we are where we are in Class 13.:D
We have always loved the desert, Baja, racing (motorcycles or cars). Waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay back when, many moons ago, Ron and I raced as a husband/wife team in the Tuff Enuff Enduros, that was pre-children. Ron and I have also done dual-sport rides in Chile/Argentina/Patagonia and New Zealand with Malcolm Smith and Ron and the boys did the Dual-Sport ride with Malcolm for many years in a row. Beau was the youngest rider ever when he rode with Malcolm from Ensenada to Cabo on motorcycles.
Justin, Cody and Beau all started out NHRA Jr. Drag Racing with their grandfather and grandmother's encouragement and support. Justin and Cody did race in the Super-Comp drag racing division for awhile. Justin did it for several years.
Long story short....we all come by it somewhat 'naturally'. I hope that Justin, Cody and Beau can try some other classes eventually and continue racing offroad for a long time to come.
We have met some really nice people and offroad racing has brought us/kept us close-together as a family. Bottom-line no matter where you finish what is most important is great sportsmenship and friendship.
Thanks again and we LOVE the friendship and competition!!! FAIR is a GREAT asset to the races and GREAT support system.
