Site Slow?

is it just me or is everyone having a slow RDC experiece? my F5 key is practically broken from repeated use. a blank page will load, "server is too busy", 404 not found, blank page, ohh the page loaded finally.. click on next page same deal..

can all these problems be related to the 63,000+ completly useless server eating posts by the goof's in the "WTAR" thread?

I don't have a problem with mine loading at all. All 3 of the different computers I use work fine.

The database should be indexed which means the number of posts really would not effect the speed... the man reason you would see ****ty performance would be from searches and pages actually being loaded or refreshed.

I haven't had any trouble loading RDC on my home or work computer-very rarely will i get a Database Error... maybe it's an internet connection issue?

Try clearing out your cookies. I think after awhile the crumbs jam up the gears or something... Seems to work for me. I was running slow a for awhile and then I ate my cookies cause I was hungry and RDC is running strong now... :)

hmm... not having too many problems in the last couple weeks, so who knows? i was using like 5-6 different computers so cookies wasnt an issue on most of them. 2 of the computers are on the same connection, but 2 were not, and was having the same problem.
