Throttle Body Assistance plzz............

so it all started a week ago when i went mudding off road, then i went to the mountains the other day and my truck felt real sluggish. so i unbolted my air filter (airaid cold air) and notice there was quit a bit of muddy water stains on the sides of the intake walls. so i too the entire intake system off and the same muddy water was on my throttle body. so now i took that off and took a wrag and swabbed the inside intake mainifold and its completely black.. so my question is what am i looking at for damages, or can i just completely clean it, and what should i do?

The black soot/greasy stuff is from your EGR valve doing its job recirculating exaust gas back down the intake to reduce NOX emisions. Even if the valve has been disconected for along time their will still be soot inside the intake. as far as the running sluggish the injecters HATE cold water baths when their hot the ceramic lining on the id of the magnet cracks and fragments cause injector seizing. I'm suprised the injectors haven't stuck open and filled the motor with fuel and caused some REAL problems.
